I just received a call from 304-461-7725 telling me the IRS has been trying to contact me and the IRS is filing a law suit against me.

Did not answer.. The message left was automated and says the IRS is suing and to call back.. SCAM ALERT!!

They said it was my final notice before being sued by the IRS. Claimed if I didnt handle right then I would have my license revoked and a warranty issued for my arrest!

Its an IRS scam wanting me to call them back as its the last notice I will get before being sued.

IRS-final notification-recorded msg to call back.  This has happened 3 times in the last 2 days. Of course I had seen info about scams-so I called back to play along-and the guy got really nasty.  I told him my other numbers I could be reached at- they just happen to be our local Sherriff's office and police department.

I received a couple of calls from this number.  When I called back, they said they were a criminal investigation unit with the IRS.  When I kept asking why they were calling me, the man got very nasty, called me the "B" word, said he was going to have the sheriff come and get my butt (he used another word.)  I hung up and will probably report it to the police department.  I've blocked the call now.

I keep getting calls saying the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. I haven't worked since 2006. My husband called back and they used my maiden name! I've been married for 10 years. I've always filed my taxes with H &R block before getting married.

I called back and I was called a "B" as well. A very nasty middle eastern man

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I got a call from 304-461-7725 AND 571-308-2306!!!! The 571 number called me first.  Left a message about IRS sueing me, when i called them back,  they told me,  i could get my licence revoked,  they could take my house and everything i own. I asked them to send something in writing. He claimed that they had, and even said they had PROOF it was a certified letter, but that i wasn't home. The 304 number just called,  same message but without saying the IRS. I called that back,  told them i was someone else and that if they called me again,  id report it to the FBI. Which seemed to shut him up enough to hang up.

This is a message to everyone on here do not give them any money, that is not a state irs number and if the irs contacts you it will be through mail.........Not by phone
