This number calls about 3 times per day. I finally called back and the recording said you cannot complete the call as dialed. It is a useless number that is annoying.

They have called multiple times a day on my cell and home number. No answer when I pick up.  Seriously i hate these [***]

Called no answer... Many times a day

Getting multiple calls from this bogus number (really? A 555 prefix?) for the last four days. Caller ID shows directory assistance. I answered twice and they ask for a family member. I ask who they are, but they don't identify themselves. I tell them do not call again snd hang up. Let's see if they call again.

I have also received calls from this number. Calls several times/day, says nothing when I answer, leaves no message. Have tried to call back and it says number is disconnected.

This same number has been calling for weeks. How can I stop it from calling. No answer just hangs up when I pick up.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

We've also gotten multiple calls, several times a day, from this number. Super annoying...  I found something on line that said if you hit *60 you can add numbers to block. I tried this last night, and so far today, no more calls from that number.  I just hit the *60 and followed the prompts.  This was on our Comcast landline.

I received numerous calls from (310) 555-4137.  I never answered any on them except or the one that came through just now.  I said, "Hello."  The caller repeated, "Hello."  I said, "Hello" again.  The caller repeated again, "Hello", and then hung up.  I have now blocked this number so that these calls no longer come through.

I should mention the voice was male.  Not a deep voice.  English language.  Articulated and clear spoken.

Agreed with the above.  I have 9 missed calls from this number today alone.  It's either dead air or weird breathing in the background when I did answer.

They call me and they want to talk to me but when i ask who is it ..they stay quit it...im tired they call me at night

Been calling every 7-15 minutes for the past two hours. Did not pick any up, knowing it's a scam or some useless survey. Finally blocked the number, only to be called a few minutes later from 213-555-4137! So they just rotate through all the area codes until it rings through! Check this site for variations on the same theme for nnn-555-4137.

This number has called 4 to five times a day rather suddenly in the passed week, but not before that. A woman greeted me upon answering stating that she was trying to reach my wife to take a survey. She said she was not a telemarketer and that she was not wanting to sell us anything. I said that my wife was not interested and to please remove our information from her list. She said "sure" and hung up mid-pronunciation of that word.

They called 6 times yesterday exactly as they did to you. However, yesterday they called with a (626) 555-4137. A few minutes ago at 5:15 p.m. they called with a (310) 555- 4137 number. I assume they are scammers and do not answer.

Received call and did not answered. Funny after I checked this website I found that I had received calls or area code 312, 862 and 212 with the same  555-4137.. No Call ID just assumed State. I marked them on my block app as Big Time Spam.

If you own an iphone they allow you to block unwanted numbers.

Called today and left a voicemail saying "we are calling regarding your recent health insurance request". This is not true
