they call and say ther from the irs... bull [***] they cant even speak English!!! this is a scam!!!! the guy is from India and says his name id dave and badge number is bla bla bla....  well hes full of [***]!!! this is not the irs as I called back and kept asking stuff and they keep hanging up on me.. well the irs wont hang up on you they will try to find your [***] and give it to you if you did what I did to this FAKE IRS NUMBER  310-984-1095 THIS IS FAKE NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY!!!!!! FAKE IRS!!!

Just got a call from 3109841095 with a prerecorded greeting that said their was pending legal action against me for tax fraud and order to avoid being arrested I needed to call that number back right away.   I called back and got a guy with a strong Indian accent who answered with the greeting "U.S. Department of Treasury".  I said, " I don't think so." and hung up.

Received an email with a voice mail from our old Magic number (not sure why we still get calls.. It's disconnected). "Automated" voice named "Steve Parker" from the IRS.. Stating that there is a legal action pending for tax fraud. Stating we need to handle this matter before we get arrested... To call 310-984-1095. Total scam!
Can't stand these calls! That is the reason we got rid of Magic jack.. Constant scam calls almost everyday after we switched our number from Comcast to magic jack. Most other scam calls are about my windows computer from people with a heavy Middle Eastern accent...
Although their name is always like "John Smith"or "David Johnson"...etc.

My wife got the same automated call from the same number. Exact same saying except it was a woman's voice. Looks like they are trying different tactics.  Not only that if the IRS is coming after you, you will get several letters with IRS letter head.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
