I got a call at 9 AM Saturday morning.  Sigh

LAW OFFICES of ARNOLD SCOTT HARRIS, pc.... those sons-of-Bi*tc*es that "collect" all the past due PARKING TICKETS for this city I like to call SHITcago... in CROOK County!!!

.....hmmm "can anyone say: OVERTAXED???"

They keep on calling claiming that I owe a parking ticket from a vehicle that I never owned in my life. I always tell them that I have never owned that type of vehicle, but since those goof balls all seem to be pre-programmed, none of them have a thought process, so that means that no matter what I tell them, they stick to what was programmed in their dull brains. Everytime they call, on my caller ID, the name display changes; sometimes it's " A HARRIS LAW", other times it's "ASH PC", and other times it's "A S HARRIS PC". But beware of those people; when they can't get you to accept that it is you who owes these tickets, the next step they do is to try to get you to give them private personal information which of coarse I never do. They are very persistant, and won't stop until they get what they want, even if it's illegally done! Remember; this is a law office and they know all the corrupted tricks to get what they want.

This law firm has left number of messages on my machine telling me that people I have never heard of have parking ticket and to call them.  When I called the first time to tell them I live 300 miles away and don't know who they are looking for they insisted that I did, but would remove my number.  Now they are calling again for a different person.  I don't know how they got a north of Metro-Detroit phone number for two different people who live in Chicago.  Especially when I've had this number for over 12 years.

I've always been amazed that an "Atty." could be able to lower himself to the point of working in debt collections. Now they've sunk to trying to collect on parking tickets. Good lord, what's next? Over-due library books?

Collector for unpaid parking ticket!  All this money you crooks make and you are harassing me after I set up a payment plan!  A Harris Law group this is a attempt to collect a debt!

I got 2 calls from them from different numbers, this one and 312-380-4080. I have never driven in the Chicago area. After reading the posts I did some research on what to ask for, such as a written notice, etc. I called them and told a lady that I didn't know what the calls were about and she gave me a name and asked if that person lived at my house. I told her no and she said she would take my number off their list. It took less than a minute. She was very nice and professional.  Its been about 3 weeks now and I haven't received any more calls. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I haven't lived in Chicago for 15 years. Parking was impossible there so naturally tickets abound. Chicago is not a humane place to live. It's over priced and crooked -  as noted by other posters.

These people call constantly for a couple of weeks then they take a hike for 3 months and then their back again. Beware of the so-called "debt collector" when its not a live person. They even call my friend who has never driven in her 70+ years!  Obviously, many are taking their bait and for that reason they keep "phishing."

Keeps calling for a person who is deceased.  When you tell therm ther person is deceased they want you to send a death cettificate to them.  Let them get it on their own.  Person died in 2012.

I keep getting calls from different numbers, but the message is exactly the same. The first time they called I got really worried that someone had stolen my identity or sothing and was racking up debt in my name, and so I stayed on the line. I waited on hold for 5 minutes before an automated voice told me that they weren’t able to answer my call and I should try later. They’re the ones who called me! Why even both with these malicious spam calls if no one is even there to pick up the stupid phone?!? Also, I literally have never driven a car in my life, I don’t have a license, it would be impossible for me to have parking tickets.

Called today from 312-423-7344 (A Harris Law) and said they were in debt collections and for me to call back.  I won't call back.

Yes, well known debt collectors around here.  A Chicago law firm that has no clue what the law actually says.

I've been getting that same msg for yrs. I never call back. They don't even ask for a specific person.

Blocked the number on my phone, just taking up space on the Iphone, and delete it once a month, and never listen to it. What a joke. Never call them back, its a scam as far as we are concerned
