No message left and no info on answering machine when called back. Dont know anyone in Dearborn Mi but have a cusin in MI so I will not block it.

Received call today at 11:00 A.M. Did not answer, no message left.

My caller ID reported this as Lee Ferguson in Monroe Michigan. I don't know anyone by that name or that place so I think it was spam. Called back and it went immediately to voiced mail. Blocked.

Did not answer. No message. CID=Unknown name.

Number called showing it was from Michigan. I didn't answer, voicemail said, "This is Jessica from RCI? (jumbled) international and then silence. Accepted it as spam.

Received a call today said Detroit, MI.  The lady was from RCI.  She started into her luxury vacation talk and I interrupted her and asked her where she got my phone number.  This was only her 2nd day so she needed to get a supervisor to answer my question.  I told her she was most likely going to hang up on me so spare us both the time and take me off your list.  She hung up on me.

Gary again. Now that more people have reported with some detail, I am blocking this # too. This is 2nd call, no message left. If you dont have a blocking feature on your phone, get one. Many are getting repeat calls and one check here tells you to block forever.

Note that there are many blocking Apps for cell phones and Panasonic makes an expensive but wonderful cordless for the home with blocking. It has many features I find useful including the plug in headset which works better for me than speaker phone (also there).

Keep up the reporting folks, we must help each other ID and block these guys.

Consider getting a call blocking device (1500) or phone (250).. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
