- Pormi replies to kathyI just received a call from this company, about a payday loan I took out. I applied, but never accepted the terms and never received money form them either. They won't give me the name of the company to check them out with the State Attorney. Does anyone know who these people are.
- Ceci| 1 replyWe keep getting calls from this number and they are asking for some one we do not know and they call 6 times a day who can stop these people!!
- gGeorgewho is it
- Stephanie BThey call me every now and again, with a different name each time they call. And my phone shows that the call is from Apopka, FL, but when I mention that I am also in Florida, the woman became irrate, and told me she was in Chicago, not Florida. So I refuse to deal with them, I blocked the number. They never leave a message either, which I find very odd. If you really needed to get in touch with me, why not leave your name and number? Just a bunch of scam artists trying to get your banking information.
- Call type: Debt collector
- stuart| 1 replyI also got a call from the phone # 321-396-5653 from a so called Agent Graham told me to call back on Phone number 612-326-4152 which is Minniesota she stated she was with Ward & Ward Associates about a pay day loan. That I never did have and wanted to settle the acct. I had stated to her never did have a payday loan with any IP address. That if I wanted a loan I go through my bank which they will give it to me. This is a scam to get your money I have already reported them to the I.R.S. and called up the Florida Atty. General to report this. and MN Atty. General. there is now such agency as Agent Graham describes, just do a search on the net and you will see for yourself, I had aslo asked about their physical address and would not tell me nor who the pay day loan company was period or their address. Hopefully this helps you all
- Caller: Ward & ward Ass,
- Loren Smith| 2 repliesJust recieved a call from this number on a saturday stating I had felony charges trumped up against me for a loan. And that theyd settle out of court for a mere 594.00 if I paid over the phone RIGHT then. I told him I wasnt atupid enough to give out my debit or credit card over the phone and requested him to send any paperwork through the mail if this company was really out for my head. He refused and said he would be sending the courthouse my information for them to subpoena me. Funny thing is that I never got any collection notices or calls from the loan company.

- CWG40 replies to Loren SmithI'm pretty sure these guys are operating out of an Indian call center. If they tried to threaten you with criminal process for a civil loan and they have an Indian accent it is usually a total fraud. Anyway it's against US law to threaten people with criminal process for civil loans.
- Deanna Smithquit calling me
- Caller: debt
- Ed TolonI had my identity stolen a few years ago, and I am convinced this person got a loan maybe even a payday loan using my information. My bank put my money back and was able to rectify everything. the only entity not able to rectify is this stupid payday loan. I have been getting calls now from this # in Apopka FL stating that there are pending charges and that although they realize it is a fraud case where someone has stolen my identity I still need to pay $354.54 as a good faith, then file a complaint and I will get my money back times 3. All they are trying to do is steal my credit card #.
- Caller: Legal office
- Call type: Debt collector
- ED replies to stuartThey sound extremely convincing at times, but do not give them anything. This is a scam, and all they want is your card #. They charge an amount and you never hear from them.
- Curtis| 1 replyReceived a call from a lady who went by Maxwell Bailey from legal office in central Florida claimed I had taken out a payday loan in 2010 for 300.00 and due to the 700% interest rate I owe 2400.00. She said she would settle for 254.00. Claimed that the payday loan company had sent out notices and had gone into collections. This was the final attempt before it would go before a judge and I would have to appear in court. I never took out a loan, never received any notice from a payday loan company of an outstanding loan and never received any collection notice. I didn't pay her or provide payment info. She gave me a number to call her directly of 909 366 5779. She had some personal information, so it did catch me off guard initially. I had to deal with scammers in the past that threatened legal action for an outstanding debt. They had Indian accents and always were reading from a script. This went on for a year or better, I just ignored the phone calls. They finally stopped. Just don't ever give in to these scams and get a fraud protection program, I use Lifelike. But there are other good ones put there. Review your credit reports at least once a year from all three credit reporting agencies.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010 FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691
The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers. - joe| 2 repliesHey guys, these #''s have been calling me for over 10years..!!! they never stop!!! it is a living hell, I can't anwswer my ph anymore, unless I recognize the #.... - Tamianth replies to joeYour best bet is getting a call blocker - either a device or phone.
- CWG40 replies to joeWouldn't do any good. These people are most likely Indian debt scammers and as such outside the reach of US law. And even if they are domestic, they are impossible to locate. They don't exist in any business form; most of the time they are just a group of people out to scam others.
Call blocker is your best bet. - CWG40 replies to Loren SmithPossibly this group:

- See more at: http://www.bbb.org/losangelessiliconvalley/bu ... h.oVhbMyt7.dpuf - DianaI received several calls from 321-396-5653 (Areacode in Brevard County) from a Mrs. Simpson from AFS Accounts financial Solutions with my personal information including the last 4 of my SS. She claimed to have a complaint in their office for a fraudulent check that i had given a company for a loan i had taken out in 2010 and i need to make a payment of $354 or they would file a lawsuit against me at the courthouse. They sounded convincing but as i asked her for the company website she didnt even know what to respond, eventually telling me they didn't have any and every question i would ask her she would mute the call for a couple of seconds as if asking someone else what to respond. They have No website, no phyical address even though i was told their main office is in Pasadena,CA. They have don't even have a 800 number as to where she gave me her direct number 904-352-1985 (Areacode in Jacksonville, FL) she then transferred me to their "paralegal" Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, saying they were mediators and i was LUCKY to have my account with the mediation group and that i would need to provide them with my bank information first in order for them to supply me with a letter from their company for a payment agreement. I told her i wanted to know if their company was real and i wanted a email with this information before making any type of agreement and she agreed she would send me this information even though she would be breaking company rules...it has been one week later and i don't have an email but i have more calls from them and when i called them back to advise them i was contacting the attorney generals office to file a complaint against them, they now hang up on me. I've harassed them as they have harassed me. This company and any other person that answers their calls are scams. It even sounds like they are answering from someone's house. I have add them to my reject list and their blocked calls.
