Doesn't leave a message, called several times.

Heritage Foundation, probably seeking donations. Out of Southern California.

These people are annoying. They call me on both my cell and home phone even though I've told them repeatedly to stop calling me.

Junk calls. I thought there was a law against this?

Received two calls from 323-330-1426
Put them on my Radio Shack Caller ID reject list.  But they keep calling.
Filed complaints with  National Do Not Call.

I have  not answered the phone thinking it was a telemarker... finally after seeing this number calling several times a day for the past week I went to the web. So Im not the only one..

Unfortunately, nonprofits are exempt from that law.

They've called for the past three days and I've let the answering machine pickup but they hang up as soon as they hear my message say that solictation phone calls will not be accepted so don't leave a message. Why don't these people get a clue and just leave us alone.

This heritage foundation keeps calling even though I tell them to take me off their list.

No one there when answered.

Several calls on Sundays which angers me. Heritage Foundation - I gave them money last year and they want stop calling.

Before you automatically brand the Heritage Foundation as a bad group making harassing phone calls, you should know that Heritage is headquartered in Washington, D.C., area code 202. I have no connection with this organization, other than receiving their computer newsletter. But I know they are a fine, upstanding group who wouldn't stoop to these shenanigans.

The 323 area code is in California and, with all due respect to most Californians, it's not much of a stretch to suspect somebody of a, let's say "liberal" nature, attempting to besmirch an organization with an excellent reputation.

repeated calls... no response/click when i pick up my landline phone... all hours... most often early evening... most recently tonight(sunday)@7pm. i called back and got a recorded message..."heritage foundation...thanks for calling back...office hours are closed..."

Many times these organizations farm out their fundraising.  These fundraising organizations do not care how much bad will they make for their client as long as they get a cut of the donations.


Even worse, these organizations claim to be collecting in behalf of some worthy cause that does not know about it.

Please do not call! Remove my number from your database.

Calls are made morning, afternoon, and night.  I don't answer, but they continue to call.  Very annoying.

Steve makes an excellent point.  The Heritage Foundation is an upstanding organization.  My bet says it's an opposing group trying to irritate persons who might, who do, or who have supported Heritage.
Consider Kim's note.  When Kim answered their call, they didn't speak.  If a legitimate caller is soliciting you, they are not going to hang up when you answer your 'phone!

I've recently begin getting calls from this number 323-330-1426.  They don't leave message and call morning and night.  Very annoying.  Ironically my husband recently got a package from Heritage Foundation.  Haven't asked him but wouldn't be surprised if he donated.

My mother-in-law received this call at her home; the gentlemen asked for me (we don't live in the same house) and she told them I didn't live there. The call came up on her caller ID as "California Call" with no name.  After reading the other postings on this site; I bet that this number was "pirated" and it really isn't the actually number that the call was placed from.  I have friends in law enforcement and a relative that works for AT&T and they all confirm that this kind of thing goes on all the time.  Someone will "pirate or piggyback" on a number but the call is actually coming from another locality so as to mask the real identity of the caller/company calling.  This is of course illegal.  I believe that any upstanding organization wouldn't be calling and soliciting donations if you told them to not to.

We have been receiving calls from 323-33-1426, when we answer they hang up. When we return the call it goes unanswered. We have run a Reverse Number Lookup which comes back as a land line with Paetec Communications Inc. LOS ANGELES, CA. We have also been receiving calls from Pt Pleasant NJ, which also goes back to Paetec Communications.
