- YouStarted to freak out as it says there is a lawsuit so I googled the number. If someone wants to sue you they will send a letter it a more formal call! Scamming jerks!

- ClaudiaGot the same call saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against 'you.' Gave no name or case number and there's no reason the IRS would be filing a lawsuit against us. Told the hubby the IRS would be contacting us by mail in writing and this sounded fishy. That there were a lot of phone scammers out there. He said we wouldn't be returning that call. Googled it and found out that it was a scammer call.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
