Got a voice mail from some guy with a heavy Indian accent claiming to be "Officer Hadji Rogers" (no joke) saying he had papers that were filed against me at the courthouse or something.  He said I need to call him before something bad happens to me.  The number he left was 347-627-1160 (although all that came up in my called ID from his call was the number 3).  It was hard to keep from laughing listening to this guy's message (he was like his own parody).  TOTAL SCAM!!!  The government needs to take some kind of action against these Indian scammers.

"The government" has been on the case for years. Foreign ownership and operation makes the job frustrating. If you can find and sue them yourself, you also have that right.

Goofy alias names are nothing new for the South Asian thugs. They also borrow liberally from American popular culture, swiping names of movie actors, sports heroes, and TV characters.

This joker has called me several times.  I let the local police call the number and they got a lot of Indian jibberish.  This person needs to be found and put away.  I have a favorite name for him!!!

I got a smilar call on 8/1/14, at my office, yup my place of work and left this number to call  him back. Only the name he left was Thomas Barker (again a heavy indian accent according to our admin assistant. I called that number 347-627-1160 and asked for Mr. Barker. He promptly  told me that he was not available and that he was his supervisor...identifying himself as Austin Roy and that he was calling from the legal dept of PCS? He then began this long spiel stating I am being sued and that if I did not pay, it would not be very good for me. I asked who was suing me...he could not identify which company, so I told him that since he had my number, he obviously would have my address and would need to send something official via certified mail. He had a very thick Indian accent.  He then said he was calling from Cash Advance America.....I'd never borrowed anything from them at all. So I told again to put the formal complaint in the mail and hung up. He then proceeded to call me 15 times. Yes 15 times back to back, (I would hang up immediately after the first few, knowing it was him) When I picked up on the 15th call I was livid. He started pleading with me to listen to him because it 'would become very bad for me, and he wanted to help me because I seem to be a nice lady' he said. This is when I told him that I believed he was trying to scam people. No creditor would ever do what he just did, and told him that if he ever called me again, he would hear from my attorney. He was silenced.
Not sure where he may have got my number, I was online looking for a decent mortgage rate and loan to pay down some debt and partially completed an application form. Didn't think my information would had been saved.  He called me once again on 8/2...only once. Is there soemthing we can do about these people?????

Call blocker is your best bet.  These people are located in India and beyond the reach of US law.   Sadly, you can expect other calls of the same nature from Indian scammers.  But the Indian accent should give them away.

This piece of [***] scammed me for 50.00 saying I owed on a loan I had out that got transfered to his 'department ". He had my full name and social security number. He needs to be reported immediately!!! He also has a woman working with him with a.strong Indian accent as well!!! This is ridiculous!!!

IIf you receive a call from someone with an Indian accent either a.  threatening you or b.  offering you something, you know it’s a scam and you should hang up immediately.
    These people are predators, the calls are not random, they have information that they have bought from various sources and know your financial history.  If you have ever taken out a pay-day loan, they have all your information.  They know who they are calling.  They like to pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and members of the immigrant community. Also,  those who might be in financial difficulty.

These people harass me and anyone that I know. He calls multiple times and say that he is an officer by the name of Jeff Brown. He's not an officer he doesn't even speak correct English and he also gets smart with you and calls you out your name. Officers arent that bold to do that. He's also from India.  If he calls you, you should block the number or else he'll keep blowing up your phone.

This guy called saying he was officer Mr Brown from the legal department for DPS. and that I have a case pending for fraud charges. keeps calling from unknown number but Leaves this telephone number on the voicemail area code 347 627 1160. nothing but a pain to my ass please someone catch this [***]

This is unreal I'm wanting him caught. He keeps harassing me and I'm so fed up.

This man with a heavy foreign accent (sounds Indian) is calling both my home and place of employment and leaving messages that my name and social security number are with the court and I am going to be sued.  He says his name is Officer Michael Clark and I need to call back right away.  This has been going on for about a year.  Sometimes the calls stop for a few months and then start up again.  I have reported this to the Feds and my local police, but nothing much they can do as these are scam artists calling through a computer from overseas using software to disguise their phone numbers. Most times I ignore it, but once I made the mistake of calling to slam them with questions like who is your client, and what court are you referring to, etc....  I then get a "supervisor" calling himself Kevin Sparks (another BS name) who rants and raves that he is with the 2nd largest company in the U.S. (really???) and that I took a loan that was never paid back and why don't I pay my bills.  He then gave me the last 4 numbers of my social security number and back account number.  When I pressed for more information on his client, the alleged amount of this "loan", he could not answer and kept deflecting that I don't pay my bills.   LOL!!!!!
This is a complete scam.  Do not send them any money or get caught up on this!!  I have contacted my bank so they are aware as well.  Make sure you monitor your bank accounts and credit reports to make sure these [***] are not using your good name and assets to their advantage.  I wish there was more that law enforcement could do on this issue.  The calls to my home are bad enough, but to call my employer is getting a bit too far.    

I've received the same messages on my voice mail, both at my government work phone and at home. He even had the audacity to call my father's home.  I'm smart enough to know that anyone calling with an Indian accent and calling themselves, "Mr. Rogers" is a scam.  He stated the same as I have an account with PCS and will be sued.  If I'm going to be sued, I need to be served the papers either from the Sheriff's Department or a private server.  Total BS.  

I have received a call from a Kevin Sparks saying that if i did not pay my balance of 575 from a payday loan i will be taken to court and arrested. I don't know how people like him and others that can call and say that to people and get away with it. People like him should be stopped and not to harrass people.

I am also receiving calls from this number 347-627-1160 stating that they are from the Legal Dept. of PCS and calling on behalf of Cash Advance America. Stating that I owe them money and need to pay to avoid further legal action. I have reported this to the BBB and told them as much on the phone. Someone needs to do something about these people that are trying to scam folks out of money. They have very heavy Indian accents and are hard to understand. For some folks who are not aware of this type of scam would be upset and possibly comply with their demands. This is happening all over the US and it is definitely annoying especially if they call your work and home too.

I just received 27 calls and voice mails from the number(1-293-298-3983)  but the return number that he wanted me to call was (1-347-627-1160). I always take the time to look up unknown numbers especially when they call my cell because I only give it to people that I trust, upon seeing that it was a scammer I decided to have some fun. I called it and after the first few seconds he answered in broken english, I asked him in broken english with the same middle eastern accent why he had called customer support and to please explain the nature of the problem. He said that he was from  PCS /BCS( British Consolidation Services) and my business was being sued, by Microsoft, I then replied that I was an employee of Microsoft and got to listen to him backtrack and change the company to Apple to which I said I was also an employee. He began to speak in the native tongue that was heavily covering his english with to another person and then hung up on me. I called back and was treated to the same thing however this time I couldn't hold it so I started laughing and told him that he needed to start using another name because Tom Reed was already posted on this website. He then hung up on me so I called back and was hung up on again, calling a 4th time I was sent to voicemail so I started leaving messages, playing songs (America F**k Yeah! from Team America World Police seemed to be the best choice) so I kept playing it over and over for 30 min until the line disconnected. Calling back again I was greeted with "The Voice mailbox you are calling is full" so I feel a little better. I recommend anyone that receives a call from them to do the same, if they have nothing better to do than harass people in effort to rob them then they should get some in return :)

I have been receiving computer calls from various numbers. They leave a message for one of my employee with a heavy  Indian accent that they are calling from legal department and if she doesn't call them back it will be very bad. I finally took the call and talk to the person who asked me where is (name of the employee) and I said she doesn't work here he replied "don't lie" then he started using inappropriate language. When I asked him the name of the company he was calling he said PCA or PCS. He said my employee didn't pay the federal  taxes so they need to collect the taxes. After I asked him the series of question the guy hung up. I called the number that they have left on the voice mail. 1 347 627 1160 the guy answered and I asked him the name of the person he said he is his employee and this person said he is the supervisor. After I asked him the name and the address of the company he hung up.  

The same ppl guy have been calling me as well for quite some time now. He called my job  today an said it was an emergency. A Indian man. Hes leaving messages now saying that they are issuing a warrant for my arrest an says I owe CASH ADVANCE AMERICA as well never been to that place. I don't know what to do its very annoying an creepy because I don't know how my info got into the hands of these people. HELP
