This number called my house multiple times scamming as the US Treasury. I called them back and asked to be removed again went on about treasury
They then blocked my number
Names were briand and pablo

Just received a call from this number. They stated that they were the us treasury and that they had sent me several notices regarding past due taxes that I did not respond to and would now be issuing a warrant for my arrest and that someone would be at my house in the next 45 mins to take me in.

Beware off the IRS scam Google IRS phone scams look it on line report them 1800 366 4484. They will act like a officer saying your going to jail read fake charges fake case number it a whole script they read with bad English nobody is going to jail this scam been on the news. The best thing call your company tell them and they block the number there spoofing numbers warn others off this IRS call center scam I tired off it .

Received a call on answer device yesterday at 8 AM in the morning, claiming they were legal affairs. Officer Nick Anderson is the one that called, took down the number 347-650-2113. Called the number back today using*82 in front of the number I called so my number would show blocked. Officer so-and-so answer the phone's claiming it was legal affairs ask to speak to Nick Anderson, Officer so-and-so said he could help me.I told them about the call that we received and that my husband and I felt like this was a scam. Not even two seconds into the phone call he hung up on me. The phone number has been busy sense. The man had a foreign accent just like he did on the voicemail he left yesterday. This is definitely a scam call. Don't fall for it!

Yes, it's a scam.  I returned this number's call because I was curious they answered as if they were government agency.  I requested the supervisor's name and phone number.  The individual told me to have a nice day then hung up.

I also received a message from Nick....although the he called and left a message at my parent's house.   He also used my maiden name....ummm, I've been married for over 19 years.  What a joke.  Needless to say, after reading all of these posts, I didn't call the number.

I also received a call today from this number,but it was a recorded message stating I needed to call back immediately about my credit. I have also received the US treasury scam calls from people with  a foreign accent and broken English. This was different.  Don't know what "credit" they are referring too and don't intend to call back. Agree with all,it's a scam!

Received a call from James at Dept of Legal Affairs; did not answer so they left message to call back to retain an attorney to avoid legal complications. Yesterday the dept of Treasury called with similar message. Both males had foreign accents.

Received message on answering machine that something needs to be taken care of immediately. Some of the message got cut off. This is a big scam.

Rec'd 2 calls from this number so far today, claiming to be from the Attorney General, that something needs to be resolved immediately.  Please call 347.650.2113

Received a call today from this number from a "Jack Lewis" saying he was from the Department of Legal Affairs with the US Treasury. Clearly a scam.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

"James Patterson" just left me a voicemail as well, saying legal action will be taken (for what, I have no idea?). A stop needs to be put to this. What about old people getting these calls? Horrible. Oh, and he told me "to have a blessed day" at the end of the phone call. What the what???????

DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE BACK. Chances are if you call back you will have a $25 charge on your next bill. That is why they don't try to ask for anything when you call them, they got what they wanted, for you to call. An off shore company can route a call through a U.S. line.

Call came from "Larry Rogers" from "U.S. Treasury" re: a supposed failure to pay all 2013 taxes and alleged attempts to reach me via certified mail and in person at my home. He told me my assets are now frozen, a lien has been placed against my property and in 45 minutes there will be officers at my door to arrest me. Asked Larry's manager but he wouldn't put me through as this was merely informational and to make sure I understood the charges against me.

Someone from this niumber left a message on our answering machine telling us we need to return the cal immediately and advised us to have legal representation. Caller has an Inidian accent. We did not return the call. He sated he was calling from the US Treasury.

Got the same call saying something about a lawsuit to have a lawyer call them back on a voice mail this  a spoof number I reported this number n was told it was a big scam where even act like officers and tell people there going to jail read fake charges they try to bully people into paying money more people have to call the cops and report this scam.

Do not call Back This number  unless you been under a rock for the last 2 years it is 2015. Most calls today are scam calls done over the computer do you think the IRS is going call you and speak bad English use different numbers no you will have to sign something for the IRS . Block there number call your company

This guy called about a "legal notice" , that I've ignored certified mail. I said I've not received anything, resend it. I asked him not to call me again. He called back, I asked him to remove my # and name from his list and hung up. He called back and yelled he would make my life miserable.
