Received a call from this number at 3:22pm.  A recorded female voice says "This is Cindy with Florida Getaways", followed by "I'm sorry to have bothered you".  The CID says "unavailable".  The apology is nice, but I'd rather not get the call in the first place.  There are much better ways to advertise.  I would NEVER purchase anything from some telemarketer.  I assume every call from an unknown caller is a scam.  Blocked

Ah, so Mike's post is 17 minutes ago, and I am also in Florida and just got a call from this number.  My phone is registered with the Do Not Call registry so I will be filing a complaint against them.

They will never take you off their callig list because scammers like this don't care. They are usually calling from outside of the US and the Do Not Call registry doesn't matter.   Your best bet:  Buy a call blocker from Amazon or another reseller. They are the cat's meow when it comes to stopping these thieves

No, that's not always true There are a lot of these company's doing this all over and the FTC took down several of the name cruise company's earlier. Even if they are outside the US, they have to abide by both Federal and State laws when doing business in the US..

"Having to" and actually doing it are two different things. Like with gun control laws...
