Same thing happened to me. They called and left a VM saying I was being sued. I actually had the same n call me earlier this week from a different phone number. I knew immediately that it was a scam and called them back and informed them I have already spoken to the police about them harassing me earlier in the week and that I also called the law office they had impersonated. The man hung up on me after calling me a knowitall b****. About an hour later they called my husband's cell phone demanding to talk to me and that both of us would be thrown in jail for not paying some payday loan. My husband and I do not even have a credit card. So this is very false.

I knew this was a scam. just had a feeling.  when I call the number its sounds like an answering machine.  Some Indian dude keeps calling my cell saying the same as the rest.  I'm being sued, I'll be arrested at my job

Same thing happened to me this morning. Shawn Carter at Anderson law firm left me a message about suing me for a cash advance I took and did not pay back. I called back and his so call lawyer spoke to me claiming he will have me terminated at my job and the police will arrest me at work. I hungup. This is a ZFUCKED UP SCAM!

The indian guy called saying I was being sued by some cash advance company for a payday loan and I was going to jail cause the sheriff will be at my job. I called my bank and they said they have no knowlege of me authorizing anything from a payday advance and he wouldnt tell me where the call was coming from. Who just gets paid to tell people stuff like that just to scam them people mean people suck!!!!!!!!

2 urgent messages from a far Eastern sounding person calling himself Brian Scott, Says I will be sued. Gives no information as to why or by who! Ends his call by saying have a great day! What the heck! He called on this number last week and when I picked up the phone the line went dead. Apparently "Brian" gets paid to talk to voicemail only!

Same thing happened to me twice. First his name was Michael Carter then it was Michael Brown. I swear I'd like to use these guys' balls as chew toys for my Rottweilers, if they had any!

I also have received a call from this number on my cell and job.  The man who I spoke with could not speak very good english.  Told me I was being sued, but would not say for what.  Told me my lawyer would need to contact them to find out why and who.  I called the number he gave me and talked to Mike Anderson who hung up on me when I told him I had no reason to have a lawyer and what was I being sued for.  I tried to call back and he told me if I wanted information on my case I should try to be nicer and to have a blessed day.  Are they kidding me?  Call me at work to tell me I'm being sued when there is no reason to be sued and expect me to be nice!

They called me saying I have a lawsuit against me. But would not give me any information and when I asked for their lawyers name and phone numbet he gave me his phone number.

Scam phone call received at work and on my cell.  Trying to say I was being sued but did not give any other info.  Told me I would be arrested if I didn't cooperate.

Got the same call today, his name was David Cooper. He left a msg on my voicemail, saying that I could lose my job because I'm being sued. I just knew something was up, how you gone call with a heavy ass indian accent, but your name is David Cooper. He called my job demanding info. and told my employee that he was calling from the Sheriff's dept..she called me scared shitless, asking me what have I done. ..These ppl have too much time on their hands.

Some indian speaking dude called that couldn't even say my name correct. Saying i was being sued for some cash advance pay back. And he needed my lawyers info. Never had a cash advance then i talk to some  Mike Anderson from a law firm saying i would be arrested at my job. Scam

I too have been harassed by a Middle Eastern man claiming to be from Anderson law office. I have told them not to call me and I have reported them the police for attempted extorsion and fraud. If they call you tell them not to call you again and then tell them you are calling the police and filing a complaint.

I just received a call at my Job saying I will be getting sued and I need to call Mike Anderson ASAP omg so I googled the number and this came up.. Smh that's just messed up.. Thanks everyone who posted their situation..

Indian guy calling tellimg me im Being arrested for a loan I owe, called the number and it was an ans machine

I have been receieving many calls from this number. My husband is in the military and over seas in Korea for a year. They have called my cell and job multiple times threatening to have me and him arrested for fraud. They say they sent us a check and we spent the money without paying then back. They said we will both be fired and in jail away from our children. Me and my husband have no loans at all. He has been gone and hasnt been able to even apply for anything while he is there. We have a 1 year old and a new baby son and we dont understand why these people are attacking us. They call at all hours and I am trying to see if this is happening to any other soldiers in the military? This is crazy and stressful we have been married a year and been very good with our money and trying to manage our home and family together! How can we fix this problem? has anyone eles been able to have them quit harrasing them? Who do I need to contact?
