Caller ID says Hillcrest OH.  Calls every evening.  Have not answered.

Called several time, and didn't leave a message. Now blocked, and peace has returned.

It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Without introducing himself, a male with a low, official-sounding voice asked me it this is so and so (my first and last name). I said, "Yes." He fumbled a little and said, "Can you repeat that?"
I got a feeling this can't be legit and hung up on him. He did not call again.
A few minutes later, I tried to call back because the area code is same as mine, but there is no connection either from my home phone or my cell phone. Obviously, they can call you, but you can't call them.

Got a  call from the Faternal  Order of Police Calling  for  their fallen  officers fund  ,  money  goes  to  the family's ,  asking to send envelope to put money in and send it back to them I told them no and the FCC will get after them.
