I found an ad for a Ferrari at a price that sounded too good to be true, so i emailed and heard back from antonia.reifler48@msn.com, and received a similar email back about the divorce, etc.  Thank God for Google or i might have wasted more time on this scammer.  Hope the cops can catch up with her/him/them.

She used the divorcee story with the name Adrienne Birchmeyer to list a 2011 Jaguar XF and sent the Paypal 877 # to finalize the sale.  Contacted Paypal directly and they informed us that Paypal never uses an 877 #, we sent all email correspondence we had to spoof@Paypal.com.  Also reported the scam to cars.com and Car Fax.

She's alive and well and still living as Adrienne Birchmeyer.  She's trying to sell me a Mercedes Benz CLS550.  But she's been ever so kind as to provide the VIN, among other details.  Her message is below:

Guys, many thks to you all for posting your experiences with this person, Adrienne Bierchmeyer!!! Oh yes, she is posting a Mercedes C63 for $36k 2009, excellent condition, etc. Its a sam for sure as this car sells for at least $50k. Is there a way to get these guys out of what they are doing, just a waste of time and if someone falls in the trap that would be a serious damage.

Unfortunately, my husband & I didn't research "Antonia Riefler," it all sounded so legit & we were looking for a sportscar to buy so we can "play" in our middle age. We should have known better & being inexperienced with buying items from a private seller over the internet, we never checked.  As a result we paid $22,000 for a Porsche 2008 Cayman S. Yep, stupid right? The car never arrived & nobody answers the phone numbers. We are kicking ourselves in the [***] right now. We are full time workers who have been through rough times over the years & have a child in college & this is what we get. But then again we did think it was too good to be true.  We got the whole divorce story & all that so what the heck.  As they say "what comes around goes around" I am a firm believer, I've seen it & someday these people will pay for what they've done.  May they rest in peace.

I have been scammed in the same way a lot of you have and lost a lot of money.
Something should be done about this, sob, I have tried and nobody seems to be concerned.
PayPal for one needs to be boycotted. The law for another needs to be doing their job. It seems there is no one you can depend on anymore. You have to figure out a way on your own. But these people have to be caught.
We have to get together and do something.
