- Vicki cThis number comes through fairly often, A couple of times a week.
No one on the phone if you happen to answer it.
Junk call. - Ms LoretCalled twice in 10 minutes also did not leave a message the second time the first time I hung up
- steve s| 1 replya male voice told me that my medical card was ready. press 1. I would also get a free medical alert button with the card, press 1. I didn't say anything and the caller hung up within 15 seconds.
- grannybAnswered the phone, but no one was there.
- Billie Blue| 5 repliesNo one at the other end of this call?
- Tamianth replies to Billie Blue| 4 repliesConsider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Wish all the experienced 800notes writers would write as you do with poignant helpful advice and tidbits. As opposed to the trolls who think they need to preempt moderator's job and comment on each and every reply.
Very similar setup that steve s states for this call from 4808379771, 3053064995 using CNAM of Unavailable starts out with "Your medical prescription card is ready..." as lead into getting your "free" medical alert device. Since both calls came on same day, appears yet another blast of medical alert scams.
Besides the fact both numbers tout "free" medical alerts along with unsolicited medical prescription cards, both use Bandwidth SMSEnabled VoIP. Does Bandwidth.com realize that their services are used for scams? Do they care as long as they are making sales? - Boyce replies to BoyceOops, please scratch the last paragraph--4808379771 uses CenturyLink landline services.
- Tamianth replies to BoyceThank you! :) Hopefully something will be happening with and about these calls. Some local discussion, but the articles are worth the read through.

- Roe| 1 replyI happen to be home (after a rough morning of arguing with my real estate lawyer) and not in the mood for hearing my landline phone ring so as soon as I saw the number and knew I don't know anyone in Phoenix AZ, (like they are really calling from there), I immediately blocked the area code. Now will block the number using my call blocker device and file a complaint.
It is really sad when this is happening to so many people every single day and the illegal scammers get away with so much. At least the legitimate ones know the consequences, though a few don't care, the majority of legal callers do.- Caller: Phoenix AZ
- Roe replies to BoyceYes, the postings are incredibly detailed and informative. Hopefully, more people will heed the advice given and save themselves a lot of aggravation as well as money.
- JonBJust now got the call from this number. I never pick up the phone anymore until someone says something. No talk, no pickup. They are now blocked.
- Caller: Phonenix, AZ (probably scammed)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Vic GaimJust received it too, this is yet another "Cold Call" to be entered into my 'PhoneTray' list to be blocked!
- No Kidding! replies to RoeTell the real estate office down the street that I will get my lawyer over you!
- jackRobocall from "Andy" about some prescription card. I pressed 1 and told the attendant I was on the do not call list, and he was at least polite about that.
- Caller: prescription card
