The latest IRS scam recorded notice

Automated voice mail saying irs was filing lawsuit.  Total scam!
This is 2nd time today.  Before they used another number 206-317-9442.
Why can't somebody stop them???

Just got a call claiming they are the IRS filing a lawsuit. You know it is a scam when they have not even identified who you are!

Happens every year around tax time. Painter because it's relentless.

Received two calls telling me I'm a lawsuit from the IRS

Received multiple calls from this number and 206-317-9442.  I'm on the do not disturb list. Any way to make this stop?

regarding some IRS scam

Today I have received a call from 509-570-5163. Yesterday it was two calls and voice mails from 206-317-9442 (like several mentioned on above posts). It is getting annoying!

I just received a call from 509-570-5163 which I did not answer as I did not know the number calling. Looked it up and found it was spam.

Recorded call from 509-570-5163, Scam!  Claiming IRS is suing me,  other call from 657-271-1026.  I have received several of these scam calls, talked to some one once, told them to send me a certified notice, and hung up.  It was an offshore call center.

Same deal, getting tired of these.

I received a call from them today saying the IRS was filing a law suit against me and to call this number.  SCAM!

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

IRS has filed a law ..... is  disgusting

According to the voicemail, the IRS is suing me and I need to call this phone number. I haven't received anything in the mail, so I called the number back and it hung up on me. I reverse searched the number and see lots of complaints of this being a scam. I  registered my phone number on the Do Not Call list, I don't know why I keep getting these.

IRS don't call people they will only send out letters.

Received similar phone call  (from 509-570-5163) as several others  previous to me, re: lawsuit being filed by IRS my phone # is unlisted.  2/12/16.
