This number calls me at least once every day and I never answer, but I did today and they said they were with the United States government, but gave no specific information and said I was eligible for $7,800. If they need to get a hold of me that badly shouldn't they just leave a message?

This number is claiming to be the US government and that I have been randomly selected to recieve a grant of $7,800. I asked how they got my number, they claimed from the government national data base.

Just tried to call this number back but of course no getting through.  Didn't answer when they phoned and they didn't leave a message.  Googled the # and came to this page.  Thanks for your info!

At least once a day every day for a couple weeks. Never answered, and thanks to these posts I won't.

I get a call from the same number.  I don't answer numbers I don't know.  If it was important they would leave a message and any good call back number. Thanks for the information. The call is coming from Washington.

3 times this morning alone, always hang up without talking to me.

This number has called me 7 times in the last 24 hours. I am 14 years old. I don't know why they keep calling me

They are using a computer that calls all numbers in sequence and redials any that do not answer. See if you phone can block calls or if you can download a call blocking app for it then block the number. If that cannot be done, save the number in your contacts as Scam and assign "No Ring Tone" to it.

Call coms up from Haiti, calls every hour for the last few hours.

In reply to your message, I kept getting these calls just recently. They were relentless! I picked up a few times and got no answer. Finally yesterday, my 9 year old son answered and they asked him to put his daddy on the phone. I grabbed the phone from my son and verbally abused the man on the other end! So, I don't think it's a computer it's an actual person. The caller ID shows the number but when you call it back, the operator comes on and say's this number can't be reached or something like that. If it were a real business,  there would be a real number!

I have received this call twice today statement I was randomly selected to receive $7,849 as a grant from the government. caller was hard to understand because of his accent. when asked to talk to someone about him they eventually hung up. they also stated that they took a democratic survey in my area months ago and stated that's how they have my information. I have not taken said survey. but they will have your name phone number and address whether you confirm it or not.

They have called me over 13 times in the past two days. I've answered twice and they hang up as soon as I do. Each time they call it says a different city and state on it.

number called I answered could tell it was a computer calling after I said hello  there was a pause the someone with an accent came on same $7800 government BS. I politely said please mail it to me. They hung up and I blocked the number on my phone. Thanks you all the input.  Need to put on some sort of scam list or something?

Called me 2 times today within a 2 hour period. I blocked the number both times. Thanks for the input above. I will definitely not waste my time with them.

Man I thought I was really going to get something. Yeah right . 7,800 government grant. I had to spend it for bills on my business or even buy me a new car. I wish these folks would get a real job and quit trying to live off of everyone else.

This number has been calling me for the past 3 days every 2 hours. I finally answered it this morning and after saying hello twice, it started ringing as if I had dialed them.  At this time I hung up the phone and they just called back. Thank you for this info.

They are trying to scam me and get me to give them my info because they "say" that they're with the government to get me a 7,800 grant. Lmao
