Got phone calls from more than one 509 area code number.  Because i did not answer they finally got bold enough to leave me a message stating they are the IRS and I have a lawsuit against me for fraudulent tax filling. when I spoke to them they  called me delinquent and a criminal. They said I was going to spend my xmas in jail and continued to threated me. They had my last name however I had to verify my first. They had my old address from 4-5yrs ago. They finally said they were sending an officer to get me asap unless I paid $7400.00 which i owed from 2009-2014 taxes. After the 3rd person of transfers and finally deciding this was a bogus call.  The guy on the other line just went silent.  The IRS or someone should really do something about this.

Veronica, they just called me too. Left a robot message saying the same thing. I knew it was a scam. And I also know they do yell and threaten and scare people into giving them credit card info.

Same robot call and I know it's a scam!! I ignored it but searched the web to see if anyone else had gotten these calls

They called me this morning- transferred me to an "officer" who was supposed to call off an arrest warrant if I went to a specific store to wire transfer $$$!

And they just called me again now. I told them I was investigating whether it was real.

This number called me @ 6am mst.  Idk this number, or any1 in Washington.  Yesterday I got a call from a automated message saying that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me as well.  Even if you put your ph numbers on the DNC list, they still call you, so what is the point of the list?

Thank you all for posting about this.  My fiance got the same call this morning and finding this thread relieved us of some unnecessary stress.  If they call again I'll have some fun with them.  :)

This number keeps calling and threatening me...

I just received 3 messages in the last 2 1/2 hours with the same. I have reported it to the IRS! I had actually seen this a while back on the news I think so I knew it wasn't real. After they left 4 threatening messages in the last 2 days, I called this number.  Spoke with 2 different men with heavy accents (very hard to understand).  Told me I owed $7900 from 2006-2014 and that the IRS had mailed several notices.
They also said that an officer had delivered all of these documents to my home.  I asked what address they had because I have received nothing and have no knowledge of any outstanding taxes due.  The address they gave me is where I moved from over 12 years ago!  They said that is why they believe I am intentionally evading the IRS! Told me an officer would deliver all of the detailed paperwork and would have a warrant for my arrest.  Funny thing is they never asked for my new address...........Argued with Agent Alex Parker for over 25 minutes until he finally got too frustrated by my questions and I told him I was going to call my local IRS office!

I just recieved 3 calls from this number!  Glad to know it's bogus...  Thanks

This number just called me too. Got me all pissed off and said the officer came to drop off documents to me 3 x in the last 3 years. In the end. "The officer is coming to arrest me cause I couldn't pay for the 8500 I owe them" whatever. 5 years in jail and 75k in restitution they said. All for 8500? The irs would just garnish the 8500. Smh the callers were both Indian sounding.

This prompted me to call them back with completely bogus information. Gave "the officer"  completely bogus ne combination with an address that's not even on earth. And guess what? "The irs is looking for Mr. Macdoogle Arabogus too!? From 415 tittikambucha ave in san frantisco? And no, that's not a auto correct error, I spelled it out for them just like that. In the end, I called them on their [***], with an earful of cuss words and they admitted, word for word.. "yes! We're trying to scam people!" - then they hang up. People are so f***ed up!

Same as all the rest. Already knew my name and wanted my cell phone number. Said I didn't have one, so they said they couldn't help me.  Hence, they will be here in 30 minutes to arrest me.

Thank you all! My husband got three calls from them today, which he did not answer, but the third time they left a message.  My husband is disabled with medical bills we're paying off, and he was about to call them back because he thought it might be legit.  I told him to wait until I checked for posts on this.  Now I can tell him to block the number while I report them.  Thanks again to you all!

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
