Dear Sir this letter is to inform you office not to call my home.  You employee out of the Austin office
((512-687-1367 1:15 p.m. 08/28) called and demonstrated and unprofessional behavior in the effort to
Collect a debt.
She made several remarks (tape recorded):
A.    Claim she will call my home every day.
B.    Misrepresented herself, the  amount and legal status of the debt to :Check ‘n Go”
C.    Threaten to take legal action that cannot be taken legally
D.    Accuse me of commenting a crime by writing checks on Bank of America(bad checks)
E.     She even stated I could go to jail for my actions.
F.    Claim to be affiliate with a law firm.
False and deceptive business practices are not allowed in the State of Texas.  Under the State and Federal guidelines you may not contact me due to the fact I have never received a letter from your company.  Next you stated you will bring legal actions against me so by law this is also a violation.  If you could bring legal actions against me then do so.  Please do not make threats.
All the information will be forwarded to the Attorney General Office to investigate your company.

Guy left a msg asking for 'Deo or Gina" "Veo or Leo", guy spoke so fast as to INTENTIONALLY slur name so I would think he was asking for me. My name sounds NOTHING like whoever he is saying. He said "these are some very, VERY serious allegations, pending under your contact name, you NEED to contact me regarding these allegations". Allegations? Jeesh....these people are trying to SCARE you into calling them back. If you do, THEN they get your real info-might as well stick your hand in a blender!

ANY LEGIT collector will send a letter detailing what the obligation is and NEVER would use the terminology "these are some very, VERY serious allegations,pending under your contact name", nothing ever is "pending" in the collections world, either you owe or you don't...these guys are phishing, trying to cast a hook & see who bites.....DON'T

One associate called and asked that I take care of an amount owed to ACE Cash Express over the phone for 120 something dollars. I asked to be sent an official letter with company letterhead stating the claim (because I knew it is incorrect). Two day later, I recieved another call from a different associate, a "Mr. Brown". I told him I was awaiting their letter. He hung up on me. I recieved a THIRD call the following business day from "Mr. Brown." I told him I still had not gotten their official letter and he hung up AGAIN.

At this point, I called them and asked to speak with "Mr. Brown's" supervisor. I was directed to "Mr. Green" who sounds exactly like Mr Brown and speaks just like him. Even still, I explained my situation stating that they could even fax me the letter right then. He told me that even with a letter it does not change the fact that I have not paid ACE. I told him not to be a smart-[***] and to send me the letter and I would take care of whatever the issue is.

I began to give him the fax number and he continued to interupt me and accuse me of not paying a debt instead of taking the number and sendng the letter, so I expressed a feew choice words and told him to not contact me via phone any longer. I recorded the conversation and will be turning it over to my attorney now, then hung up.

Vandenberg Chase & Associates. If you dont stop calling my home and making threats, Then i will choose to contact my lawyer to take care of this matter. I  have taped all calls and have a log of every call you have made to my home. This is a few numbers you are calling from.  330-315-1161,404-891-1265,513-687-2344. Get real!!!
