These people keep calling. 3x's in one day! They don't leave a message and since I don't know the number, I never answer it. If anyone knows who it is, I would love to find out.

Have called twice, have not left a message either time.

They've been calling nearly every day for about a week. Decided to answer today. Woman said she was from B of America and when I said I couldn't talk and asked for a call back number she gave me a number so quickly I couldn't write it down. Now am calling B of A to report possibility that someone is impersonating them. Doesn't sound legitimate.

Getting several phone calls a day and didn't answer.  Today I did. Id'd himself as from Bank of America.  He knew I had a BOA credit card and knew the last four digits of my card number and also my son's name, who is on the card.  Spoke with a somewhat garbled accent. Wanted to sell some kind of payment cancellation program but said it wouldn't cost me anything. Mumbled a lot and I had to hang up. I don't think this is BOA at all, but I'm worried now and wondering how he got the last 4 numbers of my credit card and knew my son's name!  If this is BOA, where in the world are they hiring their telemarketers.

I almost never answer this call but since I knew it was for my husband (they asked for him last week), he finally answered tonight. They said they were from BOA and offered a payment cancellation program. They weren't very clear about the program and asked for my husband's name and DOB. They said it was "on behalf of BOA". After continually questioning what the program was, they gave a different company name offering the program on behalf BOA. Husband quickly told them to recind all the information he gave and will be calling BOA immediately to get to the bottom of this. This sounds very shady to me. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION TO ANYONE FROM THIS NUMBER without checking it out with BOA first.

Called ten times in 1 day!

This has worked well for me:
1) Answer.
2) Politely ask them to hold while you get the person they're calling for.
3) Put them on 3-way with the local movie theater* line-up.
Some will actually listen to the whole line-up.  I would too, if my job sucked that bad.  *Substitute theater with weather line or sex line randomly*.  Variety is the spice of life.  

When those tactics inevitably grow old, purchase an air horn, speak VERY quietly when you answer until you are sure the caller is listening intently with the volume topped out, and RECIPROCATE THE LOVE.

calls 3 or 4 tims a week looking for some one who no longer lives here and they have been told this several times

Calls twice per day.
Asks for me by name.
If confirmed just hangs up.
Received calls from both male and female.

DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF. THEY ARE BUILDING A DATA BASE FOR ILLICIT PURPOSES.

It's a TELEMARKETING BOILER ROOM that is in reality NOT associated with BofA, of which they use a loose play on words to gain credibility through associasion. Even after MANY times asking them to remove us from their list, they still call every day. These SCAMS are usually short lived when enough people get pissed off and will shut down just short of being investigated..

Called us 6X this evening. Don't answer... crooks on the other end. Turn the number in to your State AGs office. They can shut this stuff down.

Got tired of getting 2-4 calls a day, no answer.

Called the number, after a 10 minute wait asked to be removed.

The operator did not give the name of the company, but said they were calling on behalf of my credit card company - Bank of America.

Got off the list, but would recommend calling b of a and demand to have your number removed from their list that they pass on to their 'prefered customers'.

Sells credit card insurance.

Really annoying.

If you wish to stop this call, contact Bank of America. Ask for card services. Tell them the problem. They will stop the calls!
