Hahahahaaa... yeah, right.  A reputable lender never asks for money up front, and never demands use of pre-paid cards or wire transfer!  Only scammers do.
    Go play in traffic, mugu.

It's a "loan approval" call from A C E Cash Express.  Yes, he did not say "Ace", he spelled out the letters.  It is an attempt to scam you so be careful. I blocked the number.

Caller stated I was pre approved for a loan but needed to put 10% down to obtain it. Caller was very unprofessional and got very irritated when I asked questions. DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL THIS #!!! There is an ACE Cash Express, which is a real company, but this is not them, they have a 800 # and stated that they do not ask for money up front. Scary to think that these people have taken a compnies name and are acting like them.

It Was A good Experience Working Out with John Gage!! Yes First I Felt Fishy When They ask For Money Upfront. But The Gentle Man Explained Me Why I need To have Money Upfront Because As Per The New Guidelines Of BBB & FTC They Cannot Check Your Bank Account Or Check your Pay stuff Because If They Do That Its Gonna Consider As An Identity Theft And Its Against The Violation Of Federal Banking Regulation.. I Said OK And Completed The Verification Process And After I completed My Verification Process. And Once i completed My Verification Process in next 30 Mins  The Loan Amt was transferred In My Bank Account!! Thanks John Gage

    Um.
    No.
Are you a troll, shill or merely clueless?
    Read this:
"It is illegal for companies doing business by phone in the U.S. to promise you a loan or credit card and ask you to pay for it before they deliver."

They must not be able to give away their advance fee loans which are illegal, so now they jumped to extortion scam with the same payday loan MO..  Either way, they are so dead giveaway busted on the scam!  This is where you tell them to take a long hike off a short pier!

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

    Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010  FBI National Press Office
    (202) 324-3691

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.
