Another scam IRS call.

This call first came at 10 am. A man with a Pakistani accent identified himself as IRS and began telling me that I was being sued for fraud and tax evasion. He wanted the name of my criminal lawyer, saying I needed one immediately. I told him I knew it was a scam. He argued at first them hung up. My husband called the number back and a woman with an accent identified herself as IRS. Later today I received 4 calls from 518-353-5421 making the same claims and becoming threatening.

Took a few seconds for them to answer could hear noise in background. They hung up probably didn't like the tone of my "HELLO"

Received 3 phone calls from this number today saying they were from the IRS. Called the number back and at first no answer. Figured I would keep calling just to annoy. A male answered the second time and I told him congratulations he just won a free stay at the local jail and if he called me again, I was coming after him!! I figured turnabout is fair play. All he said was "whoa!!"

Same as above. I've gotten 4 or 5 voicemails from this number saying they are IRS, I'm involved in a tax fraud and evasion criminal matter, etc. male the first few times with an accent, female this last time. Ugh!

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Scam caller

said from irs

Fake IRS claiming I was going to be arrested. 2 from this phone number & 12 from various phone numbers. I wondering if the FBI is investing the phone calls.

Jeez, these guys are persistent today, I just received my 4th voice mail of the day, beginning at 10:03 am this morning! As usual, same "bot" voice mail as previously, all different phone numbers for the last few months...have put on my reject list yet AGAIN.

This call comes from a person with a middle eastern accent and accuses me of IRS fraud and evasion.

I run a small business and on occasion,  i have had  some issues with IRS for various reasons both my mistake or sometimes theirs. THEY ALWAYS  SEND MAIL FIRST. So tell them the same thing that " Fed up" said.
