Annoying calls from a company offering to lower credit card interest rates.  I have repeatedly told them I have no cards and to delete my number ... but the automated machine just keeps called.  When I have held on to wait for a live operated and explained that I do not have credit cards I have been hung up on.  Awful ... really bad .... horrible ... no excuse for this behavior.  What people will do for money!!!

This number 567-248-4400 is an "Ohio Telecom, Inc." number.  As a retired paralegal I have the time to check it out, follow through and contact whomever can put an end to the way they conduct business.

Same nonsense about lowering rates as others have experienced. Caller ID listed as "Attica, OH." The address would be the correct place for these crooks if only they were in a different state.

I got an automated message about lowering my interest rate on my credit card; it said to press 9 if I wanted to speak to a live operator.  I pressed 9...thinking it was a scam but wanted to check it out.  A Hispanic woman with a thick accent claimed to be with my credit card company and said she had all of my information but needed me to give her my credit card number just for verification purposes.  She said that she already had all of the information in front of her but she needed me to verify the number.  I refused...she kept pressin me saying that I was totally protected if my number was used.  I told her I would NOT give my number over the phone; if she wanted it she'd have to tell me what it was and I would confirm.  She said "OK, it starts with 4266"....um, WRONG!  I then told her that I was not interested and to have a nice day.  She continued to try to talk to me.  I hung up.  I immediately called my credit card company and told them what had happened.  She said this is a major scam that's been going around and they are stealing information.  DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE!!

Same as the rest.  Lower my credit card rate.  Live operator had an Indian accent.  I told them I was on the no call list, to remove my number and to please have a good day then I hung up.  I have to agree, if we have this no call and they continue, it's getting annoying.  FCC needs to step it up and close these people down.

That dadgum annoying "Rachel From Card Services" letting me know that there's nothing wrong with my credit card, but that this might be my "final notice" about lowering my interest rates.  Punched 9 & got the same guy with the thick Indian accent.  Asked him was this really my final notice or were they going to keep calling, what was it going to take to keep them from calling me, & then....I hung up on him before he could hang up on me.  The No Call List is a joke!

continually get a call from someone saying they're Steven Brown and that I should call them at 1-888-306 -0431. This occurs daily. I have never returned call, but am very annoyed.

They've been calling me often.  They claim the call is placed by Experian, the credit reporting company.

Repeat Caller about lower credit card rate.
No option to remove name from list and when you ask they are rude and hang up on you---I was even called a profanity--can you imagine? minding your own business in your own home, the phone rings, and you are subjected to abuse.
I do hope that the authorities place the crew in their rightful place--------jail!

calls from "Rachel" 567.248.4400 states nothing wrong with my account but I can lower my intrest rate..she never asks for anyone ..I get these calls 2-3 x a week..usually when you a a"live" person they hang up..I am on a DO NOT CALL LIST..so what the heck is the problem ??

These creeps call me at least once a week and I promptly report them to the FCC. They send me a confirmation of my complaint but do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO STOP THIS CROOKED GANG!! I have repeatedly asked what good the no-call list is when I continue to be annoyed with constant calls from this same bunch of idiots - Ohio Telecom Inc. in Attica Ohio. I get no response to that question. In my opinion the no-call list is a phony program created by phony politicians.

Any questions you cannot answer on the complaint, just make something up, i.e. Attica, OH zip code. I used 56701. They ask some impossible things like Ohio Telecom's email address. How the hell should I know. Just make that up too.  This crooked gang is in his jurisdiction so the AG should be willing to act. If enough of us harassed people complain, maybe he will act like the FCC will not. I just filed another complaint with them and reamed them for their inaction, for all the good it will do.

I filed a complaint on this company too. Thanks for the web address. Big help. Fast and easy to make complaint. Tell them to look up the number 567-248-4400, when you call. They will see multiple compaints and then proceed to take yours as well. The more complaints, the more efforts to investigate.

The automated message identifies itself as "Rachel from card holder services".  Caller ID only identifies the incoming call as "CALLER".  Just another scam to separate you from your money and ID.  We're on the National do not call list and I see the FCC has pretty much dropped the ball here.  

Maybe we should complain about the FCC not doing their job.

I just filed a complaint against this number as well.... The same "Rachel from card services" press 9 and get Indian with thick accent... I've been getting this call from this number for months now even though I demand they not call my number anymore. This time after being told to wait on hold while he removes my number, the Indian proceeds to inform me that he is going to "Cut off my F'ing head and S@%T down my throat" as well as making numerous obscene references about myself and other members of my family he thought would provoke me. I hope the AG and FCC finally step up and DO their JOB by shutting these thieves down and prosecuting them!
