They leave threats in English but when you call back they are of Indian decent.  The next time they call act like Little John the rapper and only respond with "WHAT!" "WHAT!" "OK!" After about 2 or 3 times of you yelling and interrupting them they will become frustrated hang up and never call back. Well they do but with a different area code. Lmao

I have just received 10 calls one after the other from this number.  I hung up the call while it is still ringing.  Who are these jerks..  

Yup, just got the call and they left an automated message.  Looked @ my caller id and called back.  A man of Indian decent answered the phone and pretended as if he was going to transfer the call.  He wanted to know if I had a criminal lawer as legal action was being taken on me.  First no one would call over the phone if this were true.  I told him that this was a scam and I was turning the number over to autorities.  Then he proceeded to say "you eat [***], oh my really you eat [***]?"  I hope no one falls for this scam, and hope that they are shut down.  

i just got a call from this number they left and automated message on my phone saying to put my work aside and return this call of legeal matters i returned the call he had and thick accent i could barely understand him he told me his name was steven johnson with legal affairs and that he was provideing legal papers where i live to have me arrested in 72 hours did not say what for i told him i know that it is not legal for him to call and threaten to have me arrested he then told me i would serve 3 years in jail i told him what he was doing was not legal he then told me i wish you luck that the law would be here to arrest me in 72 hours

Legitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process.  They will deliver the notification without warning.

I received the same message. I have been getting similar calls and emails for about a month.  It's a scam.  I block the number every time I get the calls, but they call back from other numbers.  This is the first time I have received that automated message.  Quite humorous, actually.  I can't believe that they think people will believe their BS.

I have received several call saying dept of legal affairs ,and I better put down what I'm doing and call or I have to watch the rest of my life, they will come to my door and arrest me. I have called and a guy answered I could understand he hung up on me. Today a lady called said the same thing. When I called today got the same guy and he hung up on me. I called back got another guy asked he's name.        Richard Anderson then he hung up on me.

My dad just got a call from this number. And it was the same thing saying he worked for the depart of treasury and said my dad would be arrested in 72 hrs and went by the name Rick Henderson.

I also got the same call few minutes back. So many of such hoax calls claiming to be from IRS or law enforcement these days.

I have received this call and no one answer when I called back.

They get angry when u laugh and ask a lot of questions the guy who called me was Steven Johnson and then " mr Anderson " sounded like the same person told them I was reporting and recording the phone calls they stopped calling that night but started again two weeks later .. If I'm bored I just have fun with it cause they get soo angry! YOU ARE NOT GETTING MY MONEY!!!

That is typical for these debt collection telemaggoters. I have had a numbers where I received calls looking for the person I assume had the number before me. When I tried to tell them they had the wrong number, they became very hostile. It was rare for me to get one of these calls to stop. The only time I think I had any success was when it was the collection department of a major bank. But these third party companies are pure evil as far as I am concerned.

He said he gone lock me up and take away my disability check f I DIDN'T pay. Then he put me on hold to let THINK about what he said.....  

It's just an empty threat. Nothing will happen.
Just ignore future calls.

SS, SSI, can not be touched by regular DC's. Only the feds can do that and only for back child support and federal student loans. And at that, its only a tiny percentage.  They are just trying to scare you into paying for something you don't owe to start with. This has extortion scam written all over it.  Real legal servers do not call either, they just show up!

Don't entertain them, hang up! Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I got this call too. A female called saying that the Treasury Dept. have a law suit against me. I told her that I do not know about it. She further said that law enforcement is going to show up at my door to arrest me. I asked her for what. She hung up. Then Rick Anderson called me and repeated the same thing and asked if I have a lawyer. He said good luck because the law enforcement will be coming to my door. I hung up.

I was contacted 5 times they are India descent they are saying their names are American name like e.g. Steve john or mike then they told me they are from the IRS and why didn't pay my taxes & I have to pay taxes on my social security disability cuz that was income I advised if they were indeed from IRS they would know that. Social security Waz money I had already paid taxes on it was my retirement money I also told him some ****?%%##&@$$%

They just called me said they mail something out in march of this year and I just started working last year then he went on to tell me something was wrong in my taxes in 2007 I ask how he got mad said I am going to spend three years in jail and my kids are going to a foster home and they are going to contact my job and my bank assets a freeze them

Ya i just got the call to. But before I called them back I found this page. I asked for the names that are on here they where wigged out of there minds. lol.
