I received a phone call stating I will be sued by the IRS.

I received 3 calls today from this number stating that I will be sued by the IRS.  Female electronic voice.  The last call stated it was the final notice.  Two of the calls showed up on caller ID as +1 (571) 218-7286.  One of them showed up as +57 (1) 218-7286.

Received the same message above today!

Just received a message about being sued by the irs

Same as everyone else saying im being sued by the IRS!  What a scam.  It was on our local news a couple weeks ago. My husband got the same call a few days ago.

I received a call from this number  517-218 7286 telling me that I will be sued by the IRS. I called back and got a person claiming to be from the IRS. When I asked him to repeat he  hangup.

I received a phone call stating that I will be sued by the IRS if i did not respond.  This is an obvious SCAM as the IRS does not operate in this manner.  Tried to find a number and or email address where i could notify the IRS of this SCAM but had no luck.  Finally I called my local Sheriff's department and they would not even take a report unless I had been the victim of these criminals.  Seems that these criminals can threaten you and misrepresent an office of the Federal Government but the police hands are tied until an individual actually falls victim to these criminal lies.  How pathetic that no proactive action can be taken when it is obvious that the intent of these victums is to scam and individual!

There is little they could do even if they wanted to as the majority of these calls are coming out of India and Pakistan. Do yourself a favor and do a search for call blocking devices and phones.
