I got a call from this number too. They did not leave a message but always call. Does anyone know who they are?

I also just got a call from this number - no message left. Next time, I will pick up out of curiosity. I will report once I know who it is.

I called the number back. It's Maritz(? spelling) Research. They don't have to operate with the Do Not Call list, but you can call the number at the end of my note to have them stop calling you. They call about recent products or services that you have used or purchased lately. It's either Bank of America or Capital One in my case. The number is ........ 1-800-864-8601

They do have to follow the Do Not call List if they are a business operating in the USA.  They are lying to you about that so what else are they lying to you about?

they keep calling me, twice daily, once @ my work number and then again on my cell!  This only started within the past 2 weeks or so.  And they never leave a message.  my BOA & Cap1 accounts are just fine, etc...

Is this a massive marketing campaign recently started with all their customers or something?

Actually, if you have a business relationship with them, they are exempt from the Do Not Call requirements.

Got a call from 571-431-1960 - said it was B of A doing a survey.

I am tired of getting calls from this # for solicitation. Please do not call my residence.

Calls at least once a day. Does not leave message.

They called, we did not answer as the display said "unknown name". They left no message.

They are saying they are with a Waste Company but thier number says that's not true. The phone says Maritz Research. The young girl said they  were calling from Long Beach CA but the call came from VT. This needs investagation. I been called twice today for someone who does not live here.

Leave no message...comes up unknown on coller ID.

I got a call this morning and as always did not answer.  Already putthe number in the blocked list on my new Pasasonic cordless phone.  When they call again, they will get a fast busy signal and the phone disconnects the call.  It is the best phone ever.  I do not have to get up from the dinner table or the sofa to answer the phone to see who it is.  It gives me a sense of great pride to know that I can prevent unwanted calls from intruting on my home life.

I had this number on my phone bill with charges for 2 call backed. The phone co said it was a marketing company but didn't know it was able to access the call-back feature since you usually have to press keys to do it. We were out of town durning the time the calls were charged so I know the cat wasn't answering the phone and pressing keys. My phone co credited my account and I was able to put a block on call back feature, but the company must have a way to have your number accept the callback without you knowing. I suggest everyone call your phone company and complain about this company

If they are STRICTLY TAKING A SURVEY, they are not covered by the Do Not Call list. However, the moment they try to switch from survey to sales, they are in violation.

I took the call, it was a survey regarding banking and credit cards, nice kid, just asked simple marketing questions, informed me that I did not have to answer any question I was not comfortable with, asked the regular, "do you strongly agree, agree" etc.

They are taking a survey and are allowed to call even if you are on a DoNotCall list. However, you can be placed on their DoNotCall list by dialing 1 800 864 8601 and leaving your number on the automated message.

They should be be lists as a Telemarketer since they like car 2 to 3 times a day. That is a a violation if they are on the Telemarketer list
