This call follows many from Chase, using 3 800 numbers and one 847 area code number in Florence, KY.  Chase is the worse scam violator.  Appears a company assuming the identity of Chase and other credit card companies or marketing companies, calls repeatedly to get credit card numbers.  Never call them back.  I get calls repeatedly from Chase, American Express, and CitiGroup, as these companies or scammers pretending they are these companies, call up to 20 times per day (the max so far).  I am frankly disappointed in them, as I use a digital phone service and my service doesn't start warming up until I reach 500 calls/day, which their software, hardware, and personnel limitations appears incapable of.  Quite disappointing for me, as I was rather hoping for more of a challenge.  Anyway, Citizens, get a digital phone service, forward your calls to a digital answering system upon first ring, each incoming call will be answered and billed to the caller; then select notification by email messages, and every message left will go to your email immediately.  Set your phone at home not to ring and you will never hear the first and only ring on each call.  This way, these scammers will not interrupt your day - you can take virtually more calls then these companies can make without costing them considerably, you will get all your messages immediately (hint - the scammers rarely leave messages and usually they are automated - they can't afford the manpower), and you will be at peace.  I have no accounts with any of these callers.  They simply harass, utilizing TARP moneys that are available, and so it cost them nothing up front (for now) as they seek to get "money from nothing", assuming some of the calls are not scams, though I suspect they all are.  It makes these callers look good on paper, hence the increase in this type of harassment by phone.  The best companies to use for phone service are the internet providers and digital service providers, e.g. Vonage, which provide the most options for managing incoming calls and message notifications.  When these people call you, just pass them by boys and girls.  Gotham can sleep well tonight.  - The BatMan.  re: 18592838071 (Florence, KY), 18474886051 (Chase, USA), 14046973127 (Amer. There is an opt-out form that you can fill out from the bank. Do It!!

Try blocking them thru your local phone co. "Caller ID blocking, blocking"

Called twice claimed to be B of A survey once then called back again but left no message.

Call 800-864-8601 and use this automated system to be removed.

Tina - many thanks for the info.  The number you wrote 1-800-864-8601 is the Maritz Research automated call center to have your number placed on their do-not-call list.  I just placed mine.  I hope the company'll stop calling.  I already terminated dealing with one company who gave my phone number to a research firm.  It was Gevalia and I was their faithful customer until they sold their soul to the devil.

I received a call from this number, on behalf of bank of America, the man who called asked for my full name giving me as reason of the call for a survey purposes. That call was on night time and after I agree to answer his questions about my visit to the bank, threatened me and hung up the phone.

I got the call they said they are calling from tmobile.And asked me they want to speak with (a phony name) .... I replied them if they are calling from t mobile they should know the name  of the line owner.. so dont try again and hang up...

I am also Filing a "do not call registry list" complaint since its not t mobile.

I have received two calls from this number, the first time they tried to get information about the bank of America, threatened me and hang up; it was a very weird call. The second time the same person called and I confronted him because I knew it was a scam call because I looked the first time for this number and it was already in the list of phone # scam caller.

At least 2 calls, no message, hang up when answering machine answers.  I have had about 4 other calls recently that I haven't bothered to track so they were probably the same guys.

I called the suggested 1 800 865-8601 to remove my number, seemed legit.

I have call screening machine that tells them not to call! and they still call everyday!!!!

I just got a call from this number but they did not leave a msg... I decided to look it up and saw all these posts!
I will pick up the next time this number appears on my caller id just out of curiosity before i report them.

This number has rang my home phone a couple of times but I don't answer it. Now I am glad my instincts were correct.  Please prevent them from calling.

don't let someone tell you that if you do business with blah blah blah you have to take their call. No you don't . This is business via third party.  If they are asking about boa (bank fo america) or any company they aren't authorized by YOU to call then. also, you didn't seek them out. So, in essence the notes about them not having to obey the do not call list is crock.  I know. also, go to donotcall.gov put yourself on the list. If your already on it and on it over 30 days put in a complaint. I have an account with b.o.a. and never ever would authorize anyone on my behalf nor would I allow my bank to do so without a complaint. Trust me they did it twice. 2nd time got a hefty fine. So do complain it works.

I know this for fact. I also work for a firm that informs all companies the laws. so, this guy doesn't know what he's talking about.

In the fair act lending if I lend you money or sell you something I may call you between the hours of 8 am and 8pm. also, If I get your machine I can only call 2 times in one day and if i get you can't call for one day. also, if they call you at work and you did notify them or a boss/fellow worker said no personal call. They could face a 50,000 dollar a day/incident fine
