When i got decensive and told him i didnt believe he was working with the irs he said not to worry the police would be coming to arrest us with numerous counts including fraud to the irs. I have since called the irs and found no audit or any criminal actions towards us.

- Fed-UpSeveral calls received from this number since Tuesday. The caller leaves threatening voicemails on my phone. He claims to be a police officer and orders me to return his call, or the matter will be out of his hands when he turns it over to the attorneys.
It seems to be a recorded robo-call. The threatening message begins while my outgoing message is still playing. When my voice mail picks up, some of the robo-message is already gone.
This guy will be so surprised when he gets a call from MY attorney. - Alaska GuyGot the same call as everyone else, but I'm so squeaky-clean I just ignored it.
- up north michiganWe recieved this call today and had heard on the news of such bogus IRS calls.

It was a pre recorded message. - Shannon| 1 replyThe same as the others. My "officers" name was Forrester. If he calls again, he will be directed to my attorney.

- FactoftheMatterI hope this piece of %$#$ reads these, because the next time you call me I.ll trace your [***] down and make it a quest to personally sue and crucify your low life ass. FCC better get on the ball, this guy is leaving illegal threatening messages that is probably scaring most that he calls. Also if he is affiliated with any type of low life 3rd party collections Law firm/Attorney better have validated their information and please file in my states court system and have me served. I'll sue their ass too for $1,000 allowed by law and have them investigated by their States Attorney Office.
Have them Provide and Validate all the following information per the;
Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g, Sec 809(b) that your claim is being disputed and validation is being requested.
1. What the money you say I owe for:
2. Explain and show me how you calculated what you say I owe;
3. Provide me with any and all copies of any papers that show I agreed to pay what you say I owe;
4. Provide a verification or copy of any judgment if applicable;
5. Provide verification of the date of default and last payment made;
6. Identify the original owner;
7. Prove the statue of limitation has not expired on this account;
8. Show me that you are licensed to collect in this state;
9. Provide a copy of your agreement and/or contract amount with the original creditor to collect
this debt;
10. Provide me with your license number and Registered Agent;
Don't be intimidated just make them comply with the law!
PS Give them 30 days and demand they only contact you through the mail.
If you've been served show for court and request a continuance, then file a responsive pleading countering each and everyone of the claims and require them to provide proof of each demand made. They will probably move to dismiss without prejudice because they are unable to provide for the courts the required validation information that is demanded in your Responsive Pleading.
NOTE* They paid very little for these accounts and they hope for a default judgment. That’s how they make their real $. You do also have the right to sue them, document the harassment.
You'll be fine
