I've gotten 4 calls from this caller, They leave a message asking to call back as soon as possible. Do not mention the reason for the call. I called back but the call does not go through.

Company has a caller ID Display as Universal Fedelity (Collection Company).

A woman by the name of LISA YORK called my home from this number. It is Universal Financial. I joked with her using my mothers alternate name as that's how we weed out the telemarketers and she went off calling me a "fat, rude little [***]" "little girl" and being horribly condescending. I called back immediately to report this to her supervisor  and she took the call and repeated the abuse telling me "You're never going to speak to my supervisor because this call doesn't even pertain to you." I called back again and finally got through to a supervisor by the name of my PECK and he called me a liar because LISA YORK is a "very religious woman." So listen up! This company has every right to call your home, invade on your time and be as nasty and condescending and basically treat you like a lower life form all they want because their supervisors enable this activity.

?!?!I actually had to change my telephone number because of that woman! Complaining about it gets you nowhere because the higher ups treat you the same if not worse. Since I owed the debt I had no choice but to deal with them so I just paid through their Texas office instead. Try them they're super nice over there.

This company has different telephone numbers all begin with 614-789-482_.  They are a collection agency.  In my case, they are looking for a person with the same name as mine who lives in my state.  I explained that I am not the person they are looking for, but they don't care.  They just want someone to pay the money this person owes, and they will drive you crazy with calls until someone pays.  We have been receiving calls since October 2006.  We resorted to getting caller ID and no longer answer any calls from this company.  I contacted the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Protection Division and while they were very concerned, it appears there is nothing they can do.  Good luck to everyone who is dealing with them.  They are relentless.

not wanting to wait on the line and waste minutes i hung up.
when i called back it went to fidelity and the operator immediately transfered my call ("hello fidilty, hold" and it rang and then it went silent.)

I just got 2 calls within one hour from this number.  The problem here is that it came on a business line.  I'm at work and these recordings came over.  They don't mention a person's name that they're looking for.  So, I called to see if it was an employee they were looking for and they answered and put me directly on hold, to never come back on the line....   How rude is this.  

Under the Federal Fair Credit Collections Act, these collection agencies are not permitted to be rude, abusive, or anything like that.  It is Illegal.  They are also not permitted to call your place of employment once they've been advised by your employer that those type of calls are not allowed.

the number came up from OHIO saying that they cannot go into detail about WHY they are calling, but just to call the number back and then they'll tell me.  Oh. OK!

These idiots keep calling me...They are looking for someone else ...I keep telling them I just got this number but they dont care they keep calling and calling...This should not be allowed and it is driving me nutts!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

My 15 year old son got a call from this number on his cell phone.

They asked to verify the numbers on a unused credit card.  I thought it was a real call.  Gave them the numbers BUT the calls persisted.  I finally called the credit card issuer and was told Universal Fidelity had NOTHING to do with  the issued card.  So I think this company is more than a bit shady. Why hasn't the government stepped in? Also just now in checking my caller ID they appear to use a lot of different phone numbers.

I have been receiving calls from these people telling me that I have a Macy's card I need to pay on.  I told them that I don't have a Macy's card but they insist that I do and that they called me last month and that I agreed to settle with them and now I am denying that I have a Macy's card.  They are crazy and really rude.  I don't trust them one bit and even if i did owe money, I would not pay them.  I don't think they are legit.

Left a message on Saturday at 9 pm on my business number to call 614-789-4825.  Could be for any of over 1000 people in the building.  I will not give them the satisfaction of calling them.  Had a similar situation at home with another company which I called and told them to take me off their list.  Have not heard from them again.

Just got a call from them on my business line, & have no clue why they left a message to call them back. I called, but no answer on there end, so They will have to call back & see what they have to say. It's going to be very sweet & short on the business line.

They might want to watch who they call, it could lead them to ther problems.

Be careful these people are RUDE, just got a called asked how did they get tis #, I told them the person they were looking for wasn't the owner of this phone, The man said then give me her number, I then said no I don't now who you are he states why, just give me the number, when I said no he said tis is her number I know it is this is a legal matter take my number and tell her to call me. I thought WOW he is a fool.... They can forget me giving anyone the number.
