one_mad_person - 7 Nov 2007These people called my house at 2:45 AM!!!!!!!!!!! When I picked up the phone, I heard a recording going in the background, with no one answering when I said hello. This is not the first time this number has called, but they've never called in the middle of the night! UGHHHHHHHHHHH. I am reporting them and their autodialer to the FCC. Thank you to the previous poster who listed that link, off to report them now.

BLW - 8 Nov 2007Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one getting these calls. My calls have been at 1:58 am and 6:05 am. The recording they played was of Senator Christopher Dodd during a recent debate, and it was speeded up. I don't think he's behind this, but I reported it.

wzamo - 7 Nov 2007I got a call from a unknown last week with a rant speech about government corruption. Today I got the same rant from 616-980-2604. Don't these idiots realize that their message is voided by this kind of tactic. As if I wait around all day to get insight into the way the world works from anonymous voices that intrude into my day. Why they heck would anyone trust anything they say.

Victim of Annoyance Calls - 23 Dec 2007These messages have NOT been sent out by the candidates that you hear in them, it seems. After doing some research on the internet about this problem, I have found that many people have received different messages, from different candidates. However, most people seem to think (based on the messages they got) that whoever is behind this is trying to bash all of the Republican candidates. So far, nobody I've seen has received a call from a democratic candidate.
I would also like to point out that these scammers are now calling TOLL FREE numbers (that was where I first heard the message), which is HIGHLY ILLEGAL!
