Called and left a message saying they were a law office and I was having action taken against me for tax evasion. He said his name was John Davis.

I called back and it changed. It was the same guy but this time he was a police officer and was saying there was a warrant out for my arrest. I've never been to New York.

Just got a call saying he was from US Treasury office and I owed back taxes from 2012...say name was Jack Lewis

Just called today for my husband. Thick accent saying it was legal affairs. He rambled so long on my voicemail that the message cut off. I answered and immediately hung up and they immediately called back.

I also investigated and found you are a LIAR and SHILL!

This number just called me and scared the [***] out of me!!!!! Is this caller harassing others and being rude asking for 4000 dollars!!!!!!!!

I just received a call from this number saying that there is a warrant for my arrest and legal action is being pursued against me. He had a really thick Indian accent. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

I just got the same call, I didn't answer. In the voice mail he said they had started a legal matter against me and if I don't call back I better get my attorney.

I received a call from this number stating they were from Legal Affairs, I call it back and they said I owed over $4,000.00 from a 2012 tax filing. Stating that if I hung up or if the call was disconnected that they would trace my phone and someone would show up wherever I was at work or home and I would be arrested and go to jail for 6 months. Scared the begeebees out of me.

second time male voice on my answering machine stating he was from treasury dept. (speech very garbled) couldn't really understand all of it, but the jest of it was to call this number SAP or I would be arrested and to get an attorney when I call back....which I am not going to do.

I've gotten the same call.. Trying to say my tax preparer made an error on my 2013 taxes and I owed $3600.. When I told him that I was my tax preparer and no I didn't make a mistake they hung up!  It's all a scam to try and scare people into paying money. they have you wire money OUTSIDE the US, then there is no recourse for getting the money back... I have seen this many times in my 25+ year in Banking...

He called me this morning four times because I hung up on him and he stated I had arrest warrant out and "to be ready for it".

Called said someone filed for tax under my name and said for me to call my lawyer and that a arrest warrant was issued for me

Left a long ridiculous message, Bullsh*t!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to report this call and I am erasing his scam crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not listen to this a**hole, If the IRS or someone is looking for you they send a letter and they have all your current info, they would not call like this....B@stard!!! This is the 2nd time I received this message: calling from the Dept of Legal Affairs and that I should call them back immediately or have my attorney return the call...that it could be a "mess" if I didn't call.

This is a scam; they keep calling my Cell phone and leave a threatening message and if I can't call back, my attorney should.

I got the same call from a woman. Her name was Becky Glass which was obviously not her same. She sounded maybe Indian. Broken english. She was reading from a script and stopped in the middle because she couldn't pronounce the words. If you are going to try and scam me at least make it sound believable.
