Scumbag number 650-767-2676 for the first time this morning.  The number very likely is spoofed (I saw an entry telling so, when I was searching).

They called me, too.

Also just got a call from 650-767-2676. I let the answering machine pick up the call. They hung up, no message left. I'll add the number to my call block.

I got a call fro this number. Redialing back gives me a disconnected number. i got a voice telling me this is Richard and who is this? Remember that you called me.

Caller ID said Name Not Available.

I answered this call as it is a local area code. Caller ID stated" Name Unavailable". I hung up when caller stated her name, Cindy, and name of company, Eco California.

"Etho" or "Eco" California, wants to know if you are doing any renovations?  are you sure?  are you really sure?

I got the same call. For Eco California. There is no way to stop them??

I asked them 3 times to asked me off their list. My number is on the do not call registry. Were talking class action law suit.

CID:  Out of Area.  Number:  650-767-2676.  I hung up on the first ring and blocked any further calls from this number.

Number called, listened to the message and it was just silence.

Did some research after getting this call as well and spoke to the telemarketer.  They call nearly everyday and will not put me on their do not call list... For me it is always for Home Improvement but the number is actually a ghost number many telemarketers probably filter their calls through.  My actual caller was calling me from a call center in Glendale, CA at 1-818-296-0364 and routing Northern California calls to a Construction Locator/Provider located in Dublin, CA, from there they try to set you up with a more local business in your home town.  The 650 number masks the original caller and always comes out as busy if I try to call it back.  All these guys must receive finder fees and/or kickbacks from the Businesses that are getting work as a result of this.  In any case, I had said  "ya, I might be interested in some work, oh by the way, I did telemarketing years ago myself, though job, I do not miss it.  I was out of Phoenix, how about you?"  Anyway , it led to our conversation and me getting the information I needed from him.  I later told him to go ahead and send a contractor out because I am going to make these companies that pay into this system come out to my house and waste their time because I don't really need any work done but making them waste their time is sweet revenge.... I also have just filed complaints with the FTC https://www.ftc.gov and provided them the numbers of these companies and a Furnace Cleaning telemarketing company that does the same thing about every 2-3 weeks.  Bottom line, file complaints on the Federal Trade Commission web site and register your numbers on the Nation Do Not Call List which has a link on the FTC home page.  I have already vetted out one of the Construction Companies that come out to give you estimates and they said they did not know that the Business they use to solicit customers used telemarketers,  said they would look into it.  I do not believe them, they just want the work at any and all costs...

Read my comments I posted a few minutes ago, it might shed some light on this.  The problem seems to be the Soliciting Company working on behalf of legitimate Companies, I would gladly join in on a Class Action Suit if we can find the Soliciting Company providing the customers to the Contractors...

Spoofed number. I was told so by ATT services. If you are legit, you do not need to spoof your number. Lame, inane, and brain dead morons keep using this technique. Who would EVER give these brain-dead wastes of space the time of day?

It's too bad that the FTC and Do Not Call registry don't really do anything. I've been on the Do Not Call registry for over 2 years and I still continue to get calls like this. I've placed multiple complaints with the FTC, but they have a disclaimer on their website that they don't follow up on all complaints, unless they get a lot for the same company/number. I do like your revenge practice though!

The Do Not Call Registry is not a magic switch attached to your phone line, that will block calls.

The DNC list can help stop calls originating from legitimate, registered telemarketers.
* Your calls were not from legitimate, registered telemarketers.
* Therefore, the DNC list cannot stop those calls.

The DNC list does not automatically block calls.  Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to telemarketers who registered their businesses with the FCC, and who pay a fee for the list.  The DNC list administration is supported by these fees.

The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities, and companies with preexisting business relationships, as well as debt collectors and certain nonprofit organizations, but these organizations usually have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

The DNC list is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those telescum are not registered, do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
It can stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.  Just think ... if there were no DNC, you would be receiving incessant calls from BOTH legitimate and spamming telemarketers!

The DNC itself has no enforcement authority - they forward complaints to the appropriate agency.

There is no significant drain on your tax dollar because the DNC is funded by the fees they charge registrants.

Also just got a call from 650-767-2676. When I answered after two rings they hung up. I'll add the number to my call block list.

Didnt answer.
Left no message.
