They change their number every 3 months.  Doesn't every law-abiding business do this?

I get several calls a day at my work number and when I answer, they just hang up. No real person or message on the other end. It is really annoying.

Called my landline, automated voice said "press 1 to leave a message" and "thank you good bye" right after.

Hi, this number call this am , long silence, then a strange buzzing sound , then hung up;.

Caller called. no answer. long pause then a sound came on.

Pick up and it's just static..

Call several times a day.  No voice on other end.  Silence, then hang up.  Apparently the DNC registry means nothing.

The DNC registry applies only to sales calls, not to hang-up calls or fake debt collectors.  DNC violations are only a civil infraction anyway, and really this sounds like more of a criminal case.

If they're a collection agency I know not why they call me.. I owe nobody one damn penny. It's an obvious scam, especially since it's an UN-ID'd # in NV. As with all the other UN-ID'd calls we get we NEVER, EVER answer. This time it rang three times and they hung up. I think they do a lot of it for the annoyance factor. Too bad we can't sue the damn phone cos. that encourage this BS! If they didn't make so much $$ off the scammers it would be a bit different story. Thanks to our illustrious govt. for not cracking down on these disturbers of our peace.

Called at 8:01 AM. Blocked.
