Received a call on my Comcast voice line.

Are u saying this # is from Comcast cable

Total scam! First they called from a different number asking for my SSN. They now call me from a different number asking for SSN again. When you ask where they are calling from, they get all angry and accuse you of asking too many questions then hang up. LAME

Call everyday and when I answer, caller hangs up.

Called and hung up and when you call back they answer saying calls will be monitored and recorded!  I hung up then!  They are blocked now!

Appears to be a collection agency on behalf of AT&T Uverse.

I received a call from this number on the daily basis. It is in regards to a debt or whatever you owe on your account. Once I answered they hung up on me. Don't waste your time talking to them.. You're better off looking at your credit score and try to fight the claim they put on your credit.

I'm pretty sure this is just a scam... I've never had AT&T services, so it is impossible for me to owe them anything.

This number calls me every morning, and I no one ever says anything. This is harassment!

I keep getting this call from this company  almost every hour on the hour wanted to pay a bill that I never owed both my wife and I are currently out of work and I have told them to stop calling me and I never give AT&T my information out.am sick and tried of this calls they blowing up phone.

Called but no message. I have att services so out of curiosity I checked my att bill just to see if I overlooked something and forgot to pay. Must be a scam as I have 0 balance on my bill.  Now blocked.

Total Scam!!! Keep calling me, when I finally talked to them they accuse me of a overdue bill. The first thing they want from you is your full address, do not give them any information. Lol what's hilarious, I don't even have a U-Verse account. Block these people!!!

This number calls me multiple times a day 6 days a week for 2 weeks now. When I answer, the call hangs up! Total Harassment!!!!!

Sunrise - Called me for AT&T.  They billed me AFTER I terminated service and paid the fee and now I need to work with a collection agency (so I've been told).

Well, in reality, that is better for you since you have more rights against a third party debt collector than you do against a creditor.  So, in light of the fact that it is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  , they must now do this:

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

But in any case, you should immediately do this:

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

I dont know who this person is. By me returning the call. Apparently they probably have Caller ID. Then asking for me to speak with.
Too many Scams are going on today. I didnt trust that phone call. I hung up the phone
