I just received a threatening voicemail from them

Received threatening call twice within last 2 months regarding an arrest charge on my cell phone. No name given.

I got one voicemail call the number back her name is Jennifer she wanted my attorney info I hung up and call the police

I received a call from this number yesterday threatening me with jail for felony fraud. He said he would have been willing to help me if I just admitted I let these slip my mind but since I was denying any wrong doing an officer will be out to arrest me, but if I will just admit to to paying I could pay the $2,000 instead of $6,000 and avoid a year in jail. I called my local police dept. they just told me not to give any info. and hang up next time.

I have a voicemail from them also.  Can the BBB take care of this.  Using threats such as arrest is illegal I presume.

Clear violation of the FDCPA laws. The BBB can take the complaint, but it may do little or no good though it will be left on file for the public to see providing its a real and legitimate company.  They will  also keep records of complaints of fake company's as well and usually have alerts on those. So it doesn't hurt, but you need to keep recordings and a notebook with details. Record any and all conversations according to your states laws. You can find out here what your laws are:
