- GinaI received several calls from this number with no message left. I called the number back and a foreign sounding man tried to tell me there was a federal warrant out for me due to tax fraud. One statement from him was, "the police in your county are ready to arrest you..." When I asked what county he hung up.
- Caller: Claimed to be IRS
- Jennifer| 1 replyI recieved a call from this number and the person who called me sound like he was from another country he claimed there was tax fraud on my behalf from the years 2010 - 2013. He stated that there is a warrant issued for my arrest if I do not settle that matter of payment owed to the IRS. Do not submit any payments or give personal information it is complete fraud! He said he was an officer and gave me a fake badge number and he said that if I hang up the phone that somebody will come and arrest me.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

https://www.straighttalkwirelessforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=6803&t=55006 - JamiI've had numerous calls from 716.261.2215. One time a foreign speaking man did leave a message about a warrant for my arrest. When I called back I got a busy signal. I finally got through today. A foreign man answered but spoke so fast I couldn't get the name of the company he said when he answered. He wanted to speak with my son and I told him he had called the wrong cell number and he hung up when I asked him what this was about.
- LlColwashI've been receiving numerous calls from this number. I answered the first time but couldn't understand what they said.. I told them I would call them back when I got better service.. I did & I ended up hanging up him.. He claimed I owed past taxes. Which I don't. Said a warrant has been issued in my country. I don't answer their phone call anymore.

- CEMI received a call from this number at 7 am. I knew right away this had to be a scam because they are not supposed to call before 8 am. He claimed he was from the IRS and asked to speak to me. I told him he had the wrong number and hung up. What he didn't know is I'm an accountant with 25 years experience and this is NOT how the IRS does business. They send certified letters; they do NOT call your cell phone at 7 in the morning, TOTAL SCAM! Blocking this number immediately!
- Caller: Claiming to be IRS

Our Pete. It's 716-261-2215. Now don't disregard this message and do return the call. If I don't hear from you or your attorney either then the legal situation unfolds on you. Have a nice day. Goodbye. Goodbye."

- Katiegot a message from this number and they said If I don't call back immediately then the legal situation falls on you. Also said his name was Officer John White. You could tell he was a foreigner. I called the number and the phone didn't even ring. So I googled this number and there is warnings all over saying this is scam.
- ErinGot a call from that nuber was told the same. It was automated call. When I called back it said it was a crime center and officer Sean answered the phone. Told me to hold on while he gets my info, I hung up without even stating my name.
- HelenGot the same message on my cell as described above, so I called back and Sean White answered the phone. He knew my name, so I asked him what his ethnicity was because he had a heavy accent. He hung up, so I called back immediately. "Paul" answered. He also had a foreign accent. I asked to speak to Sean White. Paul said Sean had just left and promptly hung up on me. I called again ... this time no answer. I called from another line. "Paul" answered again, and when I asked for Sean White, he said, "Why are you calling again?" I said, "Why have I been hung up on twice if this is such an urgent matter?" I asked him his ethnicity, and he said he was from Iraq. I could hear other male voices in the background speaking rather excitedly in another language, so this time I hung up!
