person calling my cell phone says he is from the Department of the Treasury and threatens me with legal action. lol

It is NOT anyone who is even in the USA calling.  This SCAM comes from India OR Pakistan. Ignore the calls.

Let it go to voicemail. The man calling claimed to be a Chris Wilcox (with a very thick Indian accent) from the Department of US Treasury. Message was for someone--not me. Threatening legal action if they were not called back. Clearly an outsourced call.

This person called me from this number threatening me I curse his ass out!!

I got a call from this # (he left a message as I don't answer unknown calls) saying he is Eric Foster with Department of Legal Affairs. Says if I don't call him regarding a certain legal matter against me it will cause more legal action against me. You can definitely tell that he was trying to make his voice as american sounding. It was kinda funny how choppy it was. Not that it will make any difference but you need need to work on the American Accent SCAMMER!

Same as the other ppl.  Caller called and threatened me with legal action from the irs

Same thing, Heavy Indian accent saying he's "James Madison From the US Treasury" telling me a there's Law enforcement acts against my name.

Scammer must take an interest in US history.

I don't answer unknown numbers - I let it go to voicemail and the message that was left was...   This is Shawn Peterson from Department of Legal Affairs something something something I am looking to talk to J  M  E  Bristol (He asked for me by my email address) about a litigation against something something something. Then went on to leave phone number. I really am not sure what he was saying, not because of the accent (which there was plenty) but because his voice kept going in and out so every fifth word or so I couldn't hear him.

Received a call from a man with a strong accent (or pretending to have an accent) saying he was trying to reach me due to a legal action that was being filed against me.  It was urgent I return his call.  His # came up on my caller ID so I called the number back (from a different phone) and after several rings someone answered,  again with a strong accent, "Department of Treasury".  I hung up.

Same thing...guy said his name was Eric foster and taxes due...threatens to put my daughter in jail for six months and that the cops were on the way ...lol what a joke

Dept of legal affairs @ US Treasury from Gabe Sanderson????  couldnt understand name yes very heavy india accent   Maybe samolian?  ...   in  reference to a law enforcement  act on me.  Call back with legal attorney!  Reminds me of voices on internet on-line dating?  which were all scammers.!  These scammers  need to be held accountable!

He sounded British? Think he used a computer program to disguise his voice

They called and stated they needed my lawyer's information because the treasury department was taking legal action for a mistake on my taxes.

Did anyone report to Federal trade Commission

The guy i had sounded like a Druken Red neck Meth Head,  Could barely read what he had on the queue cards. I may call them back just to screw with them, got nothing better to do on a Friday early night.
