It's a NY phone number.

I have also received this junk fax. Apparantly my name was reviewed and accepted for inclusion in the 2008 edition of the Presidential Who's Who.
Obviously its a scam and it asks me to fax form to 0845 020 4153. So this scam has made its way accross to the UK.

I received the same fax and the guy I spoke with was soooo good on the phone. He will get a lot people qith his scam. His name is Mark Anthony McGuiness and I knew it was a scam by looking online at their website and finding out that only one person was listed (with the same number than the company.loool).
I asked this question and Mr Mc Guiness (soo funny!) told me that the gentman was the owner of the building they were in.
I contacted the NY Chamber of Commerce to report this practiceand I will ask anybody to do the same bc hate junk fax.
Grr!

Yeh I got my faxt too!  I feel so special!  The fax number to return my form is 866.676.5744. His/their phone 718.707.6638, however I won't call it.  Do you think they're gonna send me money?  I've got my fingers crossed. The only people dumber than the people who create these things are the people who unwhittingly respond to them, if anybody does.  Best thing to do is ignore them and use the reverse side of the paper for your grocery list.

We get faxes like this weekly. I've been trying to use the number at the bottom that says 'call this number to remove your fax from our list' but we still get 'em. I haven't bothered to keep track of the numbers to see if its not working, or if there are just dozens of companies like this. This company could be legitimate. They're website is http://www.presidentialwhoswho.com/. But legit or not, its a nuisance.

I just sent him a 400 page fax. :)

...Wow! They 'reviewed my information' and still don't know my name.

But "there are no fees or dues to be included in the publication."
...that's nice to know. we've seen these before and if you want to buy the publication it is usually a few hundred bucks. It's a vanity publication.

Do NOT EVER call the number at the bottom of a junk fax to tell them not to send you any more. The reason they put that number there is that if you call, they know it is a real, live number, and they have successfully sent the fax. They will then put your name on a list of active numbers, and you will most likely see even MORE faxes than before!

I got 2 more calls from Presidential Who's Who, this time from "John McManus" and "Lee Knight" both of whom are "officers" from the company. I am on a Do Not Call list and told them so. Told them I was reporting them to the Attorney Generals of New York and Texas. Thoroughly cussed them out and hung up. I am also a writer/author/reporter and will notify the publications I write for about this company.

Received a fax from the same folks - not only do they not know any information regarding WHO works here, the date they provided for when they contacted someone here is not true.  They also got the name of the company wrong on the fax.  I submitted a complaint to the FCC via their site.  For anyone wanting to do the same, you can do so at https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

You can file a complaint with the FCC very easily, online, when a company continues to send you faxes after you've notified them to stop.  Actually, you don't even have to notify them to stop, because faxing without permission is against the law anyway.

Great idea, lol!!!

At least they new your company name. They addressed me as "Dear Company Owner", what a joke!

I usually send a piece of black construction paper to these tards, then 2, then 3 etc.

This is a trademarked company which means they are a brand.I had a pleasent experience with this company. I recieved all items much in advance than i expected. The gentleman i spoke with was extremely professional and informative.

Were in Texas and today I also recieved this fax and decided I'd look up this "company" I came across this site.. My fax is also like Rosco's..
