These people call themselves Beneficial Mediation Services. They lie and say they have a document with a complaint, etc. They are liars. Don't take their calls. Put them on your do not call list, etc. They are scammers.

I think this is a scam. They've been calling me for weeks now claiming to have a document with a complaint about my mother. When I explained that there's no way there's a debt - the rep cursed at me and then hung up. The latest time they calledI asked for the company - and they identified themselves as Beneficial Mediation Services. I asked where they were located - and they said Michigan. When I asked for the company address - the lady refused and said she would take me off their list. Then guess what - 10 minutes later - they called again ! I'm guessing they are a debt collector but who knows since it seems like a scam...

This number called my husbands phone and stated that they had a complaint for a Fleet Bank and that he was going to be thrown in jail and that the police would come to his house and that they would freeze the bank account. We have never use Fleet Bank now or in the past so we knew that it was a scam . After my husband told the lady to F off a gentleman called back and got angry with him that he had hung up and swore at his employee

Making the threat of arrest/jail is illegal (and will not happen even if you did owe money --civil case)!!  No debt collector can freeze your money without a court order.

they told me a court order was written and to be delivered by the sheriff if I did not pay x amount today.

Hang up if they call again,

1. You are NOT warned if a summons is coming AND
2. You can not buy your way out of a summons if it is already issued.

I received a call from this number saying they have a complaint and I couldnt even make out the name they were asking for. Gave some type of complaint number and wanted me call a different number of 888-774-6302.

Also no Debt Collection company can threaten you. If they have get their info and file a complaint with  Ftc.gov there it tells you what your rights are under collection laws.  NEVER give out Personal information to these scum suckers. Make them mail you proof of this said debt, by kaw they need too!!!

I got a call saying I owed Nationwide Fitness from some time around  2005-2007. Not possible. I was given  a call back # Of 855-737-4045.  Told to ask for Mindy Benderson... I don't think so!!!!!!!

received call from this company in regards to a discover bill in my husbands name dated 2001. Said a summons had been filed in Benton county. Explained we hadn't had a discover since the 1970's. Called Benton county nothing showing. They suggested I call the 8885023107 number back and ask for a case number. Did just that. Rude rude rude. Said why did I need that and explained I spoke to Benton county and was following their instructions. I also pointed out I was trying to insure this was not some type of scam. Needless to say she got even ruder asked why was I wasting my time if I thought it was a scam and then proceeded to tell me she could no longer discuss this with anyone else but husband. I'd say it's a SCAM!!
