- ChrisI'm never home when I get the call from this number but I was curious to find out what it was.
- Jasmine replies to tom| 1 replyYes it's Gemma Communications (see one of the comments below)--I just called their Toronto number and they took my number off their list. It was for PC Financial's Mastercard, they want to sell me another credit card. I have received 2, 3, 4 calls from them every day, at every hour of the day and night.
- CCTHIS NUMBER IS SOO ANNOYING!!! They call at least once a day at the same time at 11ish in the morning, and there's never anyone on the line its [***]!!!
- MJHave received 3-4 calls, usually mid-afternoon on my mobile. First time I answered, but the long pause clued me in that it was a tele-marketer, so I hung up. Have let it go to voicemail since then, but there's not been a message. Glad I searched the number and found this page. I will voice my displeasure to PC.
- DonotcallmeSaskatoon, SK, November 3, 2008 at 5:55 P.M. I received a call from 800-391-9462. I am on the national no call list. She claimed to be calling on behalf of PC Financial Master Card and wanted to tell me about their latest offer. She indicated the telephone call is being monitored for quality service. I told her to mail the information. She persisted that she wanted to explain it. I said no since I was busy cooking my supper. I told her to take me off her calling list. She said my name would be taken off and kept taking... I hung up on her. Stupid ladies who do not know when to stop talking.
- paula replies to tomI called their number to yell at them :-) and discovered that there is a recorded message with an option to have your number deleted from their database.
- sweetcheeksit's really starting to piss me off, they phone me every for the past three weeks, i'm wondering how i can stop these annoying call.

- AnnoyedI've been getting calls from this number consistently for the past 3 weeks. Almost everyday at various times after work hours. I've never answered it, but tried to call it back once to see who's on the other line but the call can't be connected.
- nechevcontinues to call without leaving a VM message over the last several days
- Alias BananaboatI keep getting calls from this number...no one answers ... they call annoyingling 4 times a day! Please make them stop!
- mimikeep calling my cell twice a day ....1 week already.....hate it
- JDRook| 1 replyI've been getting calls from them pretty randomly, roughly every other day. I tend not to answer strange calls on my phone since it's pay-as-you-go, but I did answer the first time out of curiosity and heard about the credit card offer, which I stated I had no interest in. One week and about 5 calls later, I've phoned the number back from work. After asking for my langauge and some company junk, they give an option to have a number removed. I've done it and was told it would take 24 hours to take hold. (Note: this was a completely automated process.) It's possible I've now been put on other lists. We'll see what happens as the week progresses.
Update: about 10 minutes after this, I got a call from GFK group for my business, asking for whoever takes care of our marketing. Seems fishy. - JDRook replies to JDRookIt is now four days later and the phone calls have not stopped. If anything they have now increased in frequency to at least once a day, sometimes twice. My intent is to complain to the Better Business Bureau and get myself on the no call list (which shouldn't be necessary as I understand all cellphones are considered no-call).

I know a single complaint is not much to make a difference, but if everyone on this board were to make a carefully worded and well thought out complaint about their experience with this company, maybe that would give some weight to it. - sixthgearI've been getting calls from this number everyday for the last 2 or 3 weeks. Usually we don't pick up the phone, but when I do, it is either silent on the other end, or they ask to talk to my wife, and refuse to answer any questions for me. I'm on the national DNC list, so I reported them here: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng
Every call I get from now on will be reported. - ejb replies to JasmineI just tried calling the Toronto number and it doesn't give me the option to be removed from the call list. It does however give me an option if I'm interested in employment with their company...I don't think so !
I will try calling again during business hours and hopefully will be able to be removed. - Gemma Communications replies to IanFYI I worked for them for about 3 months back 07..we were contracted by pc master card mostly but also we did some rogers and bell but pc mastercard was our biggest by far..here is some inside info for you that you don't know ..the reason 98% of the time there is no one on the end is because we were to busy to grab the live line (meaning you answered it) as we use auto dialers and once you answered the 800 number you then were put on our live phone data base and from there we sold that list to other tele marketeers..THE ONLY WAY TO GET YOURSELF OFF THE LIST is to have pc mastercard call gemma as we don't take it off if you request (even though we tell you so and say it takes 30 days to remove it)..I quit because the bounced 3 paycheques on me in the span of sis months...good luck but to be honest once on the list it doesn't get removed 4ever and if you look at pc mastercard privacy policy they have the right to give your info to 3 rd parties (hard to believe but its posted on their website) good luck to you all
