- BrokenFootGot a crazy call from 800-392-4029...message was rude and borderline threatening, but the weird thing is that the call wasn't directed at anyone in particular. We have a recording of the message and of the caller ID.

- AAAbsolutely ridiculous - This company insists on calling me every day, multiple times a day for $150 in unpaid Gold's fees. The problem is, they've got the wrong chick - the info they gave me (which was limited) had someone with a different middle name, incorrect previous addresses. I have repeatedly tried telling them they have the wrong person, but they just don't care. I just don't answer anymore and have their number set to silent. Worthless [***].

- NoMoreI am the receptionist for my employer and receive hang-up calls from this number. It sounds to me like a scam...the caller is trying to collect personal, including financial, information on businesses and individuals. So DO NOT give them any information - not even your name or telephone number. DO NOT let these people intimidate you unless you want to become a victim of identity theft!

- DanRepeated phone calls during the day, evenings, early Saturday looking for someone who does not, nor has ever been at this phone number. This is horrible. Message never says who it is or why they are calling. Finally got hold of them. They were rude and would not identify what company this is. In the end, they hung up on me.

- GODHELPTHEM replies to BobYes if you press 1 or 2 cant remb but this will give you a 18003924029 and you will get some a-- h.... demanding that you give him your personal information, never give them any thing, they won't stop they are a bunch of idiots.......
- GODHELPTHEM replies to PegWow this is a big no... no... you never give any one claiming that you owe anything even if you presume it to be legitimate ...you ask them or any one to send you proof of the allegation and that's all it is until they can prove otherwise.... and know your rights ...a 3rd party debt collector can never get on red dime from you if you know what's going on in the world of so call debt...read...read....read...
before you respond to these people...these people that you just gave your information to are bad news....you have made a big mistake....that debt you alleged to owe is already taken care of when it was discharged......never never give anyone your information over the phone or otherwise unless they can produce an original contract to you ...when you signed it they have no leg to stand on...and guess what even if you pay the damn thing it will stay with you for another 7 yrs so just ride it out or just wait around a few years and dispute it with the credit bureau and they can't verify it , then it must be deleted.....or better yet send the company a refuse to pay until verified without being in dishonour notice..and they must comply...look at the FDCPA......very vital information in this.....read ..read...read.. and don't let them scare you into any thing with what they are saying that are like a lion with no teeth or paws...meow - GODHELPTHEM replies to CJA Jacksonville collection agency will pay restitution to victims and adopt a compliance program as part of a settlement with the state over charges of deceptive business practices.
Allen Lewis & Associates will pay $21,000 in victim restitution and $30,000 in reimbursement to the state for the costs of investigation and litigation.
The Attorney General's economic crimes division investigated the company and found that employees impersonated lawyers and law enforcement officers and falsely threatened criminal charges. The company was trying to collect on defaulted payments for payday lenders and musical instrument rental companies.
In addition to the restitution, Lewis & Associates will be required to record all outgoing calls if more than six complaints are received within a six-month period.

"This message is for ????, if you are not this person please hang up now. There will now be a 3 second pause. If you do not hang up after the pause, you acknowledge receipt of this voice message."
Are you kidding me? How can they tell when I'm listening to a voice message if I hang up before the three second pause? I'd love to report these people. They are hounding someone I don't even know.- Call type: Debt collector
- MJI get calls from this number all the time... on my cell phone which is frustrating. I just counted and they called me 5 times between 8 am and 2 pm. They leave a message occasionally and tell me something about "have the COURTESY to call back" in a very rude tone. They don't ever say who they are.
