they call say they with legal dept calling me over a payday loan saying they a detective and that they pressing fraud charges. tired of them bill collectors i turned  them into the district attorney in my county. they will tell u anything to scare u to get u to pay money!!  dont believe a word they say!!

These people just called me and said they were attempting to collect a debt, and told me a whole bunch of stuff, thief by deception, fraud over a payday loan. Gave me a name and address, tgis number doesnt match the address!!

What address did they give you...I want to send them some nice legal documentation

Debt collector claiming to be law office (violation of FDCPA) threatening to put me in jail (another violation) and garnish my wages (if they put me in jail, how is a garnishment going to work?). Do I want to make voluntary restitution on an illegal payday loan: no.

Keep getting calls on my cell phone that they are going to reposes any of my property and garnish my wages for having fraudulent activity but they won't tell me from where or when.  BS!!!!

i dnt remember now, but said it was north carolina, when i googled the number they called from it came back as a south carolina number!!

I've been called DAILY from this number. It's always a recording claiming that they are a "law office representing a financial institution" and they will repossess my property and garnish my wages. Only problem is I'm not even sure what "financial institution" I owe money to! :D

i got a call from this number the message stated that is was a law firm blah, blah, blah something about suing me and garnishing my wages so I called back and the operator asked for my number and stated the call wasn't for me but some other person that put me down as a reference to a loan and they are calling me because they need to find them.

Same story as everyone else but also claiming her name is Mrs.maloy  I'm in Nevada never heard this crazy stuff

I have got the same call at least 10 times in the last 30 days.  Saying they are a claims department from the law firm of Love, Harris and Associates.  Call is from Columbia, South Carolina.  I checked and there is no law firm under that name and I also emailed the local law enforcement in Columbia, South Carolina and gave them this phone number 803-602-3100.  I do not owe anyone and my credit cards have not been tampered with.  They are threatened me with a civil suit and want to know how much money and property that I have and that we can settle out of court if I would like too.  I hate scammers!!!!

They just called and said they are coming after my finances including a wage garnishment and a civil suit.  Who the hell are these people?

I just had a call like all the above...garnish my wages and civil suit. They gave me number to call if I wanted to settle and pay debt.  What the heck...how can these people get a way with doing this?  

Really, Garnish my wages? Send me to jail? First of all you can't contact my employer or Garnish my wages without court documents, 2nd if you are going to summons me, well I don't need my supervisor there. Its to me not my company. BS they can go F themselves.

They first sent me a letter then they left me a message on my answering machine.  I have enough stress in my life and don't need their harassment.

They sent me a letter threatening me and asking me to come to Florida for court, then they called and left me a message saying they would garnish my wages if I did not respond back.
