There is an automated message when you pick up.  The calls might be for a survey.  Had 5 calls from this number today.

The "Unknown Number" keeps calling from Charleston S.C. for a survey.
QUIT calling!!!!

This number keeps calling all day long.

Recorded message.  Survey.  Calls repeatedly.

For calls from this same number in one day!

Four calls from this same caller in one day!

This number calls every day 5 or 6 times a day!!!!  Never a message left!  Quit calling!!!!!

Called twice within an hour. Recorded message asking for a survey.  Woke my infant up twice!

Like others have said, they call numerous times throughout the day and do not leave a message. Very irritating and disruptive. Stop calling me!!!

I called Samsung yesterday for Customer Support - it might be their survey company following up

Called, my wife picked up by mistake.  Said Survey and she hung up right away  I have blocked them, BYE BYE.

No message, blocked.

Called 5 times today (so far). Let it go to answering machine. They don't leave a message.

Update - so far have called 8 times. Don't seem to get the message that I'm blocking this number.

Keeps calling repeatedly.  Several calls a day.  Always hangs up before answering machine kicks in.

Every day over and over, how is this legal. Annoying pest, if they do click in it's some kind of survey. Never leave a message. 3 times yesterday, 3 times already on Sunday. Search indicates Charleston,  SC number. Isn't there something that can be done to stop this harassment?

Its not! While survey's are generally exempt from the DNC, however, a survey that try's to sell you goods or services at the end of the survey are not exempt no matter what they say otherwise.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
