I keep receiving calls from them claims they have documents to serve me..

Has called 2 times a day for the last 2 days. Claims they have important documents for me and if I do not call them back, they will file against me. One problem? They used my previous name that I haven't used in years! They also called yesterday with threats to my husband. We have no bad credit and check it every week! Scam!! Do not bother even messing with them. I sure wish they would find these people and put them in jail!

Two days of calls sounding like a legal matter but no other identification.  Similar threats as mentioned above.  Will report to state agency.

I received this call too. The female caller named "Channel" said that she had documents that need to be served to me and I need to call number referenced above to get more info.

The same here in California.

I received a call on my job last week from someone and again today from someone  calling herself Channel stating that they have documents to serve me and I need to call 1-844-548-8470.  I advised her that they were not to contact my place of employment again.

Received a call and a voice mail from this number 844.548.8470....same as above...mentioned legal documents and my state ** record/reference #

11/24/15  recv'd voicemail ...intimidating in tone re: time sensitive court matter from an unknown number admonishing me call 844 548 8470.  I have excellent credit.;  no outstanding past due debt.  Woe to them who practice deceit; the female tare who left me this message...woe especially  to you!

I received a call.....Claims they have important documents for me and if I do not call them back, they will file against me in the clerks office. I called back to tell them they had wrong number (I'm not the person they ask for) and Lovely or Lesley Johnson said if I do not have the person contact her she'd send 2 uniform agents to my house to verify who's here. I told her they better come armed with a warrant. She said I'd better have the person call. I ask for her supervisor and she said she owned the company but refused to give me the name. The caller ID was unknown.

DO NOT allow these calls to cause you stress or anxiety as that is exactly what they are hoping. It's scammer scare tactics focused on creating a sense of fear and steal money from you immediately with hopes it frightens you into a poor decision. DON'T fall for it.

These calls are coming from what is referred to as a Zombie Debt / Dead Debt / Non-Existent Debt Collector. They purchase a database of consumer information. This database's consumer information is collected so if you have;
- applied for an online loan (regardless if you received one)
- applied for a payday loan (regardless if you received one)
- applied for a title loan (regardless if you received one)
- applied for debt consolidation online (regardless if you went through with it)
- paid off any or all of the above.
- a company you were doing business with (insurance, credit, etc.) had their database hacked into.
If so there's an awful strong possibility your name is in the database that the Zombie Debt Collector currently has in their possession and are going down the list using any info they have to sound legit.

It does not matter if you tell these callers that you;
- never took out a loan.
- paid the loans off and have proof.
- filed and or received a partial or full bankruptcy discharge.
They will ask for more info (your social security number, date of birth, mother's maiden name, etc.), anything that will assist with adding to the database and sell it. They will ask for proof. They might even tell you that the money supposedly owed can not be covered under any US Bankruptcy laws / court decision. (FALSE)

Always remember..
- Legitimate companies DO NOT hesitate to state their company name immediately when calling, whether it's leaving a message or you answered the phone.
- Legitimate companies DO NOT spoof a phone number (deliberately falsifying a telephone number and/or name relayed as the Caller ID information to disguise the identity of the calling party.)
- Legitimate companies DO NOT call posing as a "process server" or "legal locator" with threats of being prosecuted, served papers, or going to court. (Note: Process servers don't call you ahead of time, leave a different number to call back while giving you a last chance to "pay up". Process servers show up and serve.)
- Legitimate debt collection companies MUST send you a letter by United States Postal Service postmarked 5 days from initial contact. That letter should clearly list their company letterhead and information and the original lender of any loan with the accurate dates, the account (bank or credit union) for which it was deposited and the contact information of the original lender.
- NEVER give your full or partial social security number, date of birth, full name, etc should they ask this info for "verification" that it is you they are speaking to. *This is referred to as "phishing". It's an easy way to have your identity stolen.
- Should you accidentally answer a call from any Zombie Debt Collector or Debt scammer, make sure to Write down the time, date, phone number(s), person calling, company name, conversation and any details of the call.

ALWAYS read the previous posts on any number thread such as this. It will usually not only tell the story, but show how long it has been going on as well as the experiences of those called before you.

Caller a "Lovely Johnson" called but refused to say who the company was until I said I won't deal with here until she does because I have had identity theft....RC & Associates...which is a company in FL construction (looked up while talking to her).  She was rude, threating but don't swear because she it is a Christian Co.  Info they were using was from 15 years ago, with an ex husband as a reference (NO way he beat me) and a daughter in law I didn't know I had because my son had not met her yet.

I received a call from this number today 11/24/2015 caller stated I have debt from 2006 with RC and associate a company they ( claim ) is pursuing me for MasterCard debt .the Lady also stated I would be served tomorrow then she changed date to Thanksgiving lol ...these people really need to be caught last call I got from them was 3 months ago stating I was having to appear in court for a check I wrote in 2003 for my nails at nail shop wow !!! Scam

Adding - REAL process servers do NOT warn you if they are coming.

ID themselves as "Corporate Offices".   I'm pretty sure this RC and Associates is just another dba of the following:

Sometimes they call themselves RCG.  Or RC Litigation or Richard Carlson Litigation  or   Richard Carlson Law Group and RCG Group.  RC and Associates  Sometimes Berks and Lewis Litigation.

Don't let these people    push you around.  If they call you demand a debt validation letter be sent you by US mail.  E-mail no good.  No VL, no money.  Then.  Ignore and block their calls.

Call from a unavalible number. Called asked for ***. When asked whose calling said Chenille Braxton. Asked can I help her.  Said she had some legal documents to serve/deliver by phone for ***.  I asked which person by that name she hesitated big time and said Senior. I asked for company name. She said RCL Processing division, gave me call back number of 844-548-8470  and a reference number.  When I asked since when are legal documents served by phone she said they aren't, two uniforms will be coming to my door to serve papers on ***

Left message on voice mail to call 844-548-8470 said they have documents to serve  Courtney Berry and gave me some sort of Document number and this document would be served thru Court if I did not call back.  I am on a Do Not Call List and

Received call today showed up as unknown caller so I didn't answer. The voicemail they left is mostly difficult to make out but what I could understand says  "this message is intended for *** we have documents ( then several words I could not make out) clerks office contact 844 548 8470 I'm calling you doc reference #(state initials followed by six digits) if there is no call back we will deem address and employment verified and collect ". From the comments on here this seems to be a scam so now I'm glad I didn't answer

Same here.. 1st call was from a Raul who need me to be home between 1-3 to deliver legal papers if I had questions I could contact the 844 number above... I did  and they were asking if they had my address correct and everything . I did not confirm that is was pr was not correct but she got rude when the other person "on my legal case" Called and began questioning them

Also the female on the 844  number was supposedly Lovely Johnson

I called and reported to my sheriff office. They tried to call but nobody will answer the number
