Called and hung up when I answered the phone. Didn't recognize the number. Caller ID said SSI

Caller id said ssi.  Left no message.

Calls all the time and leaves no message.

Keeps calling repeatedly. Got 3 so far today.

SSI survey company. Call 888 204 8445 for phone calls coming from that number and 850-610-2922 during normal business hours  (NOT the hours they call. ) You can use the automated service to your hearts content to get your number put on the do not call list, but it won't work. Raising your voice to a human does though. These 2 numbers dialed my phone an outrageous amount of times a day.

Keeps calling after 6pm.. I'm deaf so I don't answer landline phones.  It's annoying!!

Caller could hardly speak English. Said it was a survey and wanted my input. Being tired of these calls I told him I had an input for him. I said bend over and put your head up your butt, that would be my recommended input. Tired of nuisance calls. The no call list is a joke.

The DNC doesn't apply to survey's, charity or Political. The DNC isn't a call blocker and can not protect you from the illegal callers, extortion scammers, foreign country's and frauds. Criminals do not obey laws simply said.    They use spoofed numbers which make it hard to track them down.. it takes time to do this and many subpoenas for call records.

However, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal but as far as I know, Oregon is the only one that does not allow Charity calls.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Called at 5:30 pm.  No response when I answered on the second ring.  On the basis of what I found here, I have blocked the number.

my # listed on State Do Not Call & on Federal Do Not Call   I should not be receiving these calls.  Especially when they hang up when answered.   They get tracked by # of calls they make but it unfair to those of use who they impose upon.

I thought they were NOT supposed to call after 9 pm? but they just did.They then ask for an adult - I'm about as adult as you will find in this house. I just hung up this time, sometimes they just breath into the phone. This number has called at least 2x today, 2x yesterday.

(850) 610-2922 is a landline phone based in Cantonment, Florida.  The number was assigned by Network Telephone Corporation.

The above phone number has called my home three (3) times today.  Their modus operandi is to ring my phone until my answering machine picks up, then they hang up - without leaving a message.

Other phone numbers call my home using the same behavior as previously outlined above.  These numbers include 850-610-2923 and 850-610-2924.  Obviously, the individual or individuals who call my home incessantly are getting on my last nerve.

Rec'd call from this number, this evening....7:37pm!!!  As usual, they left no message, and because of the outrageous number of robo-calls I get, I have not for many months now answered phone calls where I don't recognize the number.  Added it my number blocking ap (which works well), so I won't be bothered with these idiots again......Unless of course they call from another number, which is what many of these OBNOXIOUS companies are doing.....CALL ALL YOU WANT IDIOTS.....If I don't recognize the number.....I don't answer the call!!! And what the h-ll?  Now they are calling after 5pm???  Is there no limit to these [***]?

I have inside knowledge of where SSI gets your information.  They purchase your information from none other than Cox Communications.  If you have a phone,  cable,  or wifi with Cox your info has been sold to SSI and it is now theirs to sell to anyone else.  Thanx Cox.
