http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0258-fake-debt-collectors - MarlonThis man call my phone and I know the fact his a scammers trying to get my info and his using American name so is not obvious but you can tell the different of accent voice fr. American to Indian. This no# is on track right now and I reported to the authority about harassing.
- PatThis guy blocked his number from my caller-ID but then gave this 855-853-5225 to call back. I don't owe any money and I don't know where he got my number from seeing how I only use it for ordering things online. It's a non-published number. The message was so garbled I couldn't make out the name he was leaving the message for, saying something about needing correct address for delivering legal documents immediately and ended message saying something about a battery? ?? Whoever he is and what business he works for was not professional and probably is a bottom of the barrel telemarketer, scam artist, or debt collector.
- ShannonThis guy called said his name was Mike Sharp from a lawfirm and he stated that someone put in a complain about me in my neighborhood and if i wanted the information that i could give him a call at 855-853-5225. First of all i spoke to all my neighbrs and nobody put in any complain about me so this was a bogus call.

Tell them to take there scam somewhere elce, dont even give them the time from your day to listen to there lies and convince you to pay them.
- roger replies to stephanieI agree, these people are the lowest of the low scammers. They use illegal scare tactics to try to get information from you. They are pretending to be a law firm which is illegal, know your rights per the fdcpa, they are supposed to notify who they are, but they hide and violate the law, don't waste your time worrying about these losers, you'll find you have more of case against them for violating your rights.
- I am furiousSomeone called from this number saying someone forwarded a "complaint" about me and wanted to clarify my address which i have not lived in over a year. Blocked their calls and should have gotten a hang up but was able to leave a voicemail.
- crystal sanchezThis is a scam I called the sheriff dept and reported it

- JerHere are my thoughts on this. Enjoy. I was wondering when Mike Sharp would rear his ugly head again. He is back to his old tricks again. Last time he was with "Document Services". If he still is with his other cronies, he would be located in Norcros California. Doesn't mater, I will find him again. It's not that hard. Last time he was representing Century and associates or also known as Hammer Investments. Somewhere I have a picture of him and his buddy Adam. So he has a new company name. Looks like he started this one somewhere around April or May. Good luck on this one mike. Didn't you loose 10 million dollars in judgements for your investors last time your group went to bat and played Debt collector? Never the less, People, if you owe debt, work with the ORIGINAL CREDITOR, and resolve it. You always have that option, and right. As for these jack wagons, do not be scared of them. Read up on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Make Mike and his buddies send you proper Validation and or Disclosure on the debt. Until then, tell them you dispute this debt in full, and to stop calling you. Make sure your debt is or is not time bared, (statues of limitation). There is a lot that needs to be said about these companies. So read up on these types of companies. If you are really worried about this, spend the 30 to 50 bucks and talk to a lawyer. Do not give anyone your payment information just because they threaten you. If you get a summons to a court, respond to it and go. If you miss the court date, they can ask for a "body attachment". That is the same as a bench warrent. Your lawyer can advise you on this in details. Good luck,

- ShanGot a message on my answering machine re: a person who apparently used to live in my house before I bought it. The woman mentioned a complaint against this individual and my street name and a return number and a case #. I called the number cause it freaked me out thinking someone was trying to use my house for fraud or try to access my equity. Whoever I talked to was nice about my calling to tell them whom they were looking for didn't love here and hadn't for a while. Really freaked me out.
- JakeA "third-party" solicitor left an ambiguous and threatening message telling us to call this number about a property file complaint. The person who answered identified himself as Curtis Evans, working for TRS & Associates. He could not offer any verifiable proof of his credentials, his company or the person they were trying to locate. He was extremely rude and hung up the phone.

- Duped but No Longer FooledThey called me, as well, about a debt to Washington Mutual which had been swallowed up by Wells Fargo. It started with a guy calling to say he was with Document Delivery services and had instructions to serve me papers but he didn't want to embarrass me at work. He gave me a number to call (this number) and told me that they could delay the service a few hours if I called. I should have known it was a scam when Jonathan Alexander couldn't deliver the proper paper work and didn't have anything substantial to back it up. We're about to have a baby and I'm all discombobulated - working long hours to earn time off, working extra, dealing with a very pregnant wife, etc - so I stupidly gave him my debit card info (kicked myself about it for days) then called the bank and reported it lost. After reading about these guys and the fact that they had nothing substantial to offer as proof, I will not be doing that again. They are scammers. The debt isn't even on my credit report.
