I get a call from this number quite frequently.  With caller ID, I do not answer and the call goes to my answering machine, but no message is left.  It obviously has a scammer on the other end!!!

Numerous calls from this number.  Seems like it's used to determine if you have a valid phone line and then you receive a call from a different number.

I get this call often, someone trying to sell something.  I do not answer it on my cell phone

They called from 8559821901. I call back and it transferred to  88835366444. This is the opt out number. Progressive Ins.

calls often in a day.  no number or message left on machine.  tried to call back.  not a number.  totally a scam!

855 982 1901 called my cell phone minutes after filing out and internet form for an insurance quote company that I linked from the today show site.  I did not answer and got no message.  I had requested contacts by email but got the 855 call immediately.

Requested  and online  insurance quote. After answering all the questions, immediately received a call from the above number, no written quote received as you might expect... I didn't give them my cell number. Used Google voice. But somehow they figured out my cell number.

Most likely an insurance company wanting my business. They called and didn't leave a message.
