We received a fax from "Presidential Who's Who" Among Business and Professional Achivers. They are inviting business owners to be included in their publication.
This is clearly a scam to extract information about the principals of our company, our address and get a copy of their signature. We did not respond!

I just got a fax from them also.  Exactly like Rosco's.

We get faxes like this weekly. I've been trying to use the number at the bottom that says 'call this number to remove your fax from our list' but we still get 'em. I haven't bothered to keep track of the numbers to see if its not working, or if there are just dozens of companies like this. This company could be legitimate. They're website is http://www.presidentialwhoswho.com/. But legit or not, its a nuisance.

Hi there - Don't know if you'll get this, but just to let you know I have today received a fax from the same company although using a different number. By the way, we're in the UK so they appear to be targeting us now! Needed to fax back to 11044 207 504 8258. We haven't done this as I looked up the 'Company' on the web only to get your message come up as the first search item.

Rec'd this fax today unsolicited.  It did come faxed to my my name though.  It looked real convincing.  the webstie might as well be on continual loop.... It goes not where.  They have a .com and a .net.  I checked with the bbb and ...... no listing. No suprise.

Presidential Who's Who is a great up and coming recongnition book. They sent me a wonderful wall plaque with a (sm) service mark meaning they registered with the government to become a brand name for the Who's Who industry. there are many out there. but, i got to say their costomer service is great. I HAVE NO COMPLAINT this company has been doing the right thing.

You are right Jim I sent in my Fax sheet.I recieved great comstomer service and professional help on my biography. This book hold people like Dr. Jane Goodall the famous Ape Doctor that films on TV. CEO'S and Business owners of successful companies. this is fantastic its a real inspiring book and i dont believe that this company will scam people on a book that gives out such positive vibes. It is just a book with people who are proud of what they accomplished. Anyway, I really love it. I got to say, they will become a brand

What a "crock" the above "endorsements" are!  Clearly a SCAM.  Unsolicited.  Asking detailed information to be sent to an unknown fax number.  Beware! Beware! Round file this!

Certainly Presidential Who's Who may be a ligitimate company--however THIS solicitation is NOT!

Were in Texas and today I also recieved this fax and decided I'd look up this "company" I came across this site.. My fax is also like Rosco's..

This not the first time I have received this fax or one very similar.  My question is; If you are soliciting information of a specific individual where did you get his/her name and information?  What is the selection criteria?

I toss everyone of them.  The pages does nothing to clarify thier image of scammers.

I got this fax today from Illinois according to my CID..thought it was a scam.  I will not be responding.

Got a fax today, subject Presidential Who's Who Among Business and Professional Achievers, to reply to 866-676-5744 by Aug 15 from Mark Anthony McGuiness, Chief Operations Officer at 888-494-6794.  When calling the 494-6794 number, then requesting the operator, there is no answer, it just keeps ringing.  It is obvious that this is a SCAM....don't provide your information.

Got this fax this morning. There are a few random sites, a ,net site and a ,.com site for "Presidential Who's Who" I won't be answering back, if such an esteemd award, why are they sending it thorugh the fax and why didn't anyone call me? I am on the phone with them now. The man sounds like a recording, but its a real person. He said that to be included is free, I told him it was stragne to get a fax like this and it seemed liek a scam, and he said he understood. I asked what state they operated out of and he said I had reached the New York corporate office, the following is pasted from the New York Secretary of State:

Still seems fishy to me.

You know this is a scam for the following reasons:
1) Unsolicited faxes are ILLEGAL
2) Irregardless of the legitimacy of their publication, a copy of your signature would NEVER be required...get real, don't be stupid...why in God's name would they request your signature?...moreover; why in God's name would you send it? You might as well just send them your thumbprint and Social Security Number.
3) The 3 endorsements above are CLEARLY CONTRIVED and FAKE...look at the word usage, spelling, and grammer...if you are that stupid, you don't belong in the Who's Who of anything
4) The website content is bogus- the code is incomplete...I'll post more on this later...BOTYOM LINE...DON'T DO IT! Go buy your own plaque at a trophy shop.

Lord, Scam Buster is pissed...his own grammar is off all over the place. None the less...good looking out.  Plain and simply put, use common sense.   It's been years since I've seen the word "irregardless" actually used is a serious sentence...always good for a laugh.
