i beleve its a scam i recived one today it was for job referance for someone we didnt know the callers name was sam mason

i just retrieved a message from my voicemail from this same guy - sam mason.  he said was calling from ACH Pre-Law Department and he wanted to talked to me right away.  My name was used as a reference in some type of legal case.  Of course, I deleted the message....

Some lady named Patricia called me saying the same stuff...She was from prelaw dept of ACH & Assoc, she refrenced a case number, said she was my 3rd party something or another, gave out 866-753-7114 x 517.... If there was legal action against me, they can send me a letter.

I have been receiving calls from this Sam Mason from ACH Pre-Legal Dept re: legal actions pending against me. I had taken out some payday loans but was laid off & got into a bighole, my bank account was forced closed. I have returned his call but only left him a voicemail.. and now he's calling my house, cell phone and just yesterday afternoon he left a voicemail on the main number at my job. I can't afford to lose my job over him harassing me at work. Yet they have not sent me anything by mail. The messages he leaves are very rude & he trys to be intimidating. I would like to make arrangements to take care of my dues but he won't send anything via mail on how I can resolve anything. Just demands me to contact him TODAY.

I received the same calls from Patrick Corbett now ACH.. It is all fake, this James, Wow- He called me a drug dealer and said he figured as much that i would'nt pay.  He then transferred me to the "hardship department" to this jerk named Brian??  This guy just yelled at me and called me a loser, all because i wouldnt give them my bank account info.  they said, what you dont have family to help to keep you out of jail?? And the call ended with make sure your there to receive your summons to court.   I have spoke with my attorney, little did they know i am pre-law and what they are doing is illegal, and furthermore there needs to be an investigation into why they are based in NY and there Telephone number comes up as a GA number where i live, that is also illegal.   Stay tuned.... I will make sure the harrassing stops!!!

I am so sick of these jerks calling me about my payday loan, there nothing but a big scam.  Ya i took out a pay day loan, it's not a crime i cant go to jail!!  STOP CALLING James and leaving me messages at my WORK!! My boss is starting to get mad, and STOP calling my family, they will just keep telling you they dont even know me.....

These people that call from this number 8667537114 are not a scam. You can't go to jail or anything they just want to help you. They only want to get ahold of you. Thats why they call you or your relatives. You should call them back because word gets out to everyone. So if you want them to stop quote un quote harrassing you then i suggest you do get ahold of them.

has called me nonstop at work and on my cell for an account i know nothing about..several phone calls a day..

i live in florida , i've been here for 3 years now ,but before i moved here i lived in virginia. well today my supervisor from my old job had texted me and said that i had to go to court, and i was like what for? she said she thinks its from my cash advance loan that i took out 3YEARS AGO!!!, And the guy that wants to talk to me name is Vince Fisher and the number is 1 866 753 7114. Now i'm thinkin in my head if it wa that serious why couldn't they just track me down to here in florida? and why did they wait so long to want to take me to court? ,
i don't knoe if i wanna call now.

i got a call from James Collins. ACh Pre legal dept... I also had payday loan last year that I got behind on. James told me they were calling as a courtesy b/c he believed we could resolve this blah blah. then he told me he wanted to get his supervisor Brian on line w/ us to set up a resolution right away on phone. I told them I'd get back to them. i believe they are the payday loan co or a collection agency

I had the same type of call last week from a Brian Davis...what an ass.  On the message he said that he had information regarding an Arbitration case against me.  Again, like all of you, no paperwork.  They are bullies and leave no paper trail at all. Therefore, they should not be intimidating to anyone.

Got a call today from them. My son had taken out a payday loan back in 2007. It was for $250. They had taken $415 from him and he closed his account to stop it. I had a message for my son to call the pre legal department as they wanted to know his place of employment to send someone to meet him and serve him court papers. I did not tell them my husband is an attorney. I took the information and called my husband. Basically it is legitimate. We are paying $545 to put a stop to litigation. Nice amount they made on $250, over $900. Anyways, I spoke with Brian Davis and he was very polite with me and gave me the information so we could take care of it. If you ignore them, they will just keep calling you. They can sue you. They will just get a judgement in a court without you even knowing about it. They will attempt to serve at an old address. My son learned the hard way. At least he had us to take care of it for him.
Also, I am not defending collection agencies, I know a lot of them are scum, but if they will work with you without yelling, etc., I recommend setting up something. Just mail payments, DO NOT give out bank information or pay via Western Union or MoneyGram. Send everything certified mail.

Brian Davis nor Patricia Carter were polite to me.  I told them I was unsure of what they were talking about and before I agreed to anything I wanted documentation.  I have yet to receive it and they claimed they mailed it on the 10th and today is the 20th.  When Patricia Carter first called me she claimed they were taking criminal action against me ... On payday loans it is CIVIL not criminal and I told her that and she got rude with me.  She then started to raise her voice. They started calling and harassing me again last night.  Brian Davis said he was going to go on Google and the internet and say things about me.. yes those were his exact words, he then started raising his voice and so I hung up.  I called back today and asked for a supervisor this lady said she was I then asked for her name and she said Constance and I told her I wanted to speak to who was in charge of Brian and she said he was the supervisor, I then said well if he puts anything about me on the internet I will file charges and if you call me again I will file charges and she hung up and Patricia called back and started saying rude things and would NOT give me their mailing address and that she could call me anytime she wanted even when I said no you can't.  I will be filing charges against them.

If I do owe the debt I will pay it but not without documentation and not with threats.

We have received several calls from James Collins & a Jeff Collins which we do not believe are their real names, maybe aliases but strangers to us. We do NOT owe them any money at all! They are looking for another family member who does NOT live with us, we are a 3rd party. One of the callers rattled off some of our private & personal information which set off a red flag for us causing us to take action and investigate them. They call their business ACH Credit Recovery Services. We spoke with our bank, ACH can stand for Automated Clearing House which for one it appears is a way money can be added to or taken from your bank accounts, example-some government offices use ACH. I have been contacted by this agency..  For a Payday loan from 2004...  This is something that I thought had been taken care of.. Though this was a very stressful time for me..  And do not know for sure one way or the other.    I did receive a letter from them after our conversation.  How ever I offered to send them payment in the mail and they said they could not except payment that way .. that I had to either moneygram them the money or use my checking account..   I asked if I could get a prepaid debit card from walmart to take care of it..  the deflation in the guys voice was very noticeable.. when he said yes I guess you could do it that way.. and then he sounded as if he did not want to talk to me about the issue anymore..  I have a bad feeling about this company and I am at a loss as to what to do...  If they take me to court .. and if they get a judgement with out my  knowledge is there anyway I can fight it?  Because they have said that if I do not take care of it before it leaves their office that action will be taken with out my knowledge..  is that legal?
