This phone number (876-410-4742) called me, said his name is Jon King, said the Fed Govt and Bank of America are requiring me to pay $250.00, the percentage of my winnings of 150k, When I asked where he was, he said Jackson, MS. I asked him how he got my phone number, he said it was random selected and he is affiliated with Walmart. He said I have to go to CVS pharmacy, I told him that I know it was a scam and I was reporting him.

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.
    http://www.att.net/smartcontrols-809AreaCode

Scammers use these numbers to not only try to scam you out of money, but also sting you with high phone call rates.

Do report the calls, Jamaican and US officials are still actively tracking down and arresting the offenders:

I just received a phone call from this number and it was strange from the beginning.  It was a gentleman that had a thick voice and he spoke very slowly.  Almost as if he was having a hard time speaking the words.  He said that he was from Publishers Clearing House and needed to know where to find me.  He would also need to know my banking info to deduct the taxes.  I immediately hung up right after I told him not to call my phone again.

A man just called me saying, "I'm from Publisher's Clearing House..." When I asked, "What do you want?" in a rather cold voice, he said, "I have a check here with your name on it..." I interrupted him immediately and said, "NO, they don't make phone calls to their winners!" He immediately hung up, but there was no click of any kind, just silence. As it so happened, I was on my computer at the time, and put his pone number directly into Google. Duh...what a surprise that it came up as a scam. I wish I had listened to more of his spiel, and THEN gave it to him with both barrels. He wasn't really a telemarketer...he was a scam...uh, I mean "scum-artist", with a capital SCUM!. The call came in at 3:56 p.m. today, June 23, 2014. Be vigilant!!

Received a call from a Mr Creed.  I had trouble understanding him and am not certain of the name.  He spoke as though he was disguising his voice.  He told me he was with publisher's clearinghouse.   I simply told him "no thanks" and hung up the phone.  Gave me the creeps from the start.

I got a call today from this same guy. I told him I was at work. He left me a number to call him back. I checked the number found out it was [***], he kept calling me back so I had the number blocked. He said he was from PCH and I had won 2.8 million dollars and then said I also won a 2014 Range Rover that I would have to go to the nearest CVS to pick up. What a piece of [***].
